I'm sure this has been talked about much already, but I've noticed an up-tick of violent rhetoric on FB that's getting passed through the grapevine; granted mainly from a small group of 'hard left' folks in my social circles but it's gone from disagreeing / 'resisting' trump type circle-jerk to now 'we don't need to share this country with these people' type memes. One or two steps from now is "killing them is morally right", or whatever they can get away with that would imply the same thing.

This is subtle psychological warfare - given the recent rhetoric of outright violence from the left, we might NOT have much time before the attacks Q mentioned come to fruition. Priming in this form takes months in each phase. Yeah, we have a lot of good people on our side in the gov / 3 letter agencies trying to hold it all together but it only takes ONE good event for the violent left to decide 'yeah, fuck it, it's time' and start acting out against whatever perceived wrongs are out there. Yeah, these people are stupid, but even stupid people can really make a mess of things.

My gut feeling is that the Comcast fiber cut from earlier was just a test run for further things to come- you don't think Internet Backbone providers run without redundant links in 2018, do you? Accidents happen sure but this doesn't feel like any coincidence.
