If Satan existed Then Q would not ask Anons the Question of whether or not Satan exists.
If Satan existed Then Q would not then follow with "Does the 'thought' of Satan exist?".
If/Then… Learn to "code".
In modern English vernacular, the phrase "the thought" is used to demonstrate something that does not have to be real or become manifest to still have Potency in the mind.
Example:
"Anon wanted to do a good thing yet something prevented Anon from doing the good thing yet Anon should still feel good because Anon honestly wanted to do a good thing."
Proverbial Example:
"It is the Thought that Counts."
Satan does not have to exist in order for People to believe in Satan nor for them to desire to emulate what mankind has believed concerning the thoughts and deeds of Satan, devils and demons.
Just as people desire to serve the concept of a creator some desire to serve the concept of a destroyer.
Some seek Light and some seek it's absence regardless of whether or not either can be proven to exist.
In the Throne of the human mind, on the Seat of Invention, It is Only the Thought that counts, plans and then activates the Action which achieves manifestation in the material world.
No Thought No Action.
Just as those who believe that a Creator exists and then they Act upon this belief attempting to be Creators themselves OR simply guardians of the Creation.
There are those who believe a Destroyer exists and they also Act upon their belief attempting to be Destroyers themselves OR simply harbingers of Destruction.
In mankind's struggle to understand the world in which it finds itself it has inadvertantly created an Illusion.
A duality that does not exist.
A division only of the mind.
Because they could not accept what appears to be Reality.
We are One.

Many otherwise good hearted people are going to have an extremely difficult time accepting the thought that Satan does not exist and Anon would like to examine why.
Why would they cling to such a thought?
Why does anon find many who would prefer to argue to no end rather then to believe for one second that this "Adversary of God" is not real?
Well, the short and sad truth appears to be that instead of worshipping the concept or Thought of a God/Creator that is both Kind, Patient and Good as well as a God capable of delivering punishment to those who are not…
The minds of mankind either required or was taught to believe that two diametrically opposed and separate entities are responsible.
And at least some of mankind wanted and needed a way to explain why things occur that they do not wish to occur and/or why bad people go unpunished or are why bad people are allowed to even exist at all.
Enter Duality.
The thought of Satan will do all of God's dirty work in their minds.
They know some jobs need done yet they hate the manner in which they are and yet they have no alternative solution to what is certainly a problem, people being bad.
Everything is segmented in their lives, the doctor, the lawyer, the policeman and the judge so Heaven must also be and Their God is far above and way to busy to tend to the wicked and so it is that a Satan must exist.
Consider how many religions seem to require the concept of an Adversary and even Destroyer.
Yes many or Most if not all.
Consider the Bible. Consider the 40 days in the desert. Consider all the things that in their minds must be blamed on something else.
Consider their own sin. Could they possibly be held responsible for it?
Consider the Koran, the Torah, the Kabala, the Gita…
Consider the implications of the thought that Satan, the adversary and the destroyer is only a thought.
Are we now able to remove this "dark" veil from our minds and to see History for what it is and to then boldly state that "This is what Mankind has Done!" ?
Anon is ready…
