Millions Of Federal Dollars Funneled To Planned Parenthood In Tennessee Despite State Opposition
Millions of dollars of federal funding is being funneled to Planned Parenthood in Tennessee in the latest conflict between the state and the Biden administration.
Earlier this year, the Biden administration disqualified Tennessee from being eligible for Title X “family planning” funding because the state had blocked the money from going toward counseling for abortion. According to a new report, $3.9 million of federal money will be sent from the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood to the Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi.
“The federal government withheld critical funding from TN families, so they could funnel taxpayer dollars to a radical political organization. Some things should simply rise above politics — especially resources that TN mothers, children & families have counted on for decades,” Governor Bill Lee said.
“This is wrong on many levels, & the federal government should correct their mistake. In the meantime, TN will continue to fill the void & ensure families across our state receive the resources they need,” Lee added.
The federal government withheld critical funding from TN families, so they could funnel taxpayer dollars to a radical political organization.

The Department of Health and Human Services yanked Title X funding from Tennessee because the state’s Department of Health would not advise women to get abortions. Tennessee’s Title X guidelines stipulated that facilities receiving the funding had to provide “information and counseling regarding all options that are legal in the State of Tennessee.”
In response to the policy, DHS told Tennessee that the “inclusion of ‘legal in the state of Tennessee’ is not an acceptable addition to your policy.”
Tennessee has some of the strongest pro-life laws in the country, not allowing abortions except to “prevent the death of the pregnant woman or to prevent serious risk of substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function of the pregnant woman.”
Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi celebrated the news, with CEO Ashley Coffield claiming that Lee had “refused to comply with Title X requirements for unbiased patient information.”
“This funding does not cover the cost of our navigation services or the money that we provide to patients to travel out of state for their travel needs … Our donors will continue to support those services,” Coffield said.
Conservative groups criticized the move, saying that it was a move to go after Tennessee’s sovereignty.
“The Biden Administration, unhappy with Tennessee’s status as perhaps the most Pro-Child state in the country, is continuing its war on Tennessee’s sovereignty by sending previously denied Title X funds to Planned Parenthood,” the Tennessee Faith and Freedom Coalition said in a statement. “It is also egregious to note that the Biden Administration ignores and enables the evil history and practices of Planned Parenthood by giving them more taxpayer dollars, as their founder Margaret Sanger demonstrated in her writings and speeches, as evidenced in their targeting of minority communities, and their sick practices involving the tissue of dead children.”
The funding for Planned Parenthood is just the latest example of a clash between Tennessee and the Biden administration. The Department of Justice sued the state over its law banning sex change procedures on children, and state lawmakers recently announced that they would look to reject federal education funding.

Now, during the first day of the impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden in the U.S. House on Thursday, AOC confirmed that assessment, about not being smart – in spades.
She seemed to think that she had a big point to make when she asked George Washington law professor Jonathan Turley, the two other Republican witnesses, and a witness for the Democrats if they were "presenting any first-hand witness account of crimes committed by the president of the United States?"

It was hilarious, as though she thought she was somehow debunking the case against Joe Biden. But none of those people were intended to be a fact witness; they were there to talk about their knowledge of the law or of investigating similar matters. You can't debunk something they aren't claiming.
Even the Democratic witness notes that he's not a fact witness at the end, puncturing AOC's ridiculous pomposity, and Turley's eye roll at about 16 seconds in is priceless. If you wanted an example of how to waste the time you have to question witnesses, this was it.
If that wasn't silly enough. then AOC tossed another fit when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was referring to an exhibit. Greene was attempting to show a picture of a woman in a bathing suit, but Rep. Jamie Raskin (R-MD) objected, claiming that Greene had introduced "pornographic pictures" in the past that were not suitable for children. That was funny because it was a reference to her showing pictures of Hunter Biden and hookers. MTG was accusing Hunter of Mann Act violations, and of being involved in trafficking. But the Democrats don't want to address that or address anything related to Hunter or Joe Biden.

Since assuming our Republican majority in January, the House Oversight and Accountability Committee has uncovered a mountain of evidence revealing how Joe Biden abused his public office for his family’s financial gain.
For years, President Biden has lied to the American people about his knowledge of and participation in his family’s corrupt business schemes.
''At least ten times'', Joe Biden lied to the American people that he never spoke to his family about their business dealings.
He lied by telling the American people that there was an “absolute wall” between his official government duties and his personal life.
''Let’s be clear: there was no wall. The door was wide open to those who purchased what a business associate described as “The Biden Brand.”''
Evidence reveals that then-Vice President Joe Biden spoke, dined, and developed relationships with his family’s foreign business targets. These business targets include foreign oligarchs who sent millions of dollars to his family. It also includes a Chinese national who wired a quarter of a million dollars to his son.
Joe Biden also lied to the American people about his family making money in China. He has continued to lie about it even when the House Oversight Committee uncovered bank wires revealing how the Bidens received millions from Chinese companies with significant ties to the Chinese intelligence and the Chinese Communist Party.
Just this week, we uncovered two additional wires sent to Hunter Biden that originated in Beijing from Chinese nationals. ''This happened when Joe Biden was running for President of the United States. And Joe Biden’s home is listed as the beneficiary address. ''
To date, the House Oversight Committee has uncovered how the Bidens and their associates ''created over 20 shell companies – most of which were created when Joe Biden was Vice President – and ''raked in over $24 million dollars between 2014-2019.

In recent history, Democrats inflicted much damage on the credibility of congressional investigations by peddling the Russia Collusion Hoax.
