You can eat during the time the sun is set during Ramadan. I did a 72 hr fast recently. If you keep in mind that you sleep 8 hrs a day and then do intermittent fasting for the first 8 hrs of each day, that is an easy 16 hrs a day of fasting. Without much effort that is 48 hrs of fasting for a 72 hr fast. The hardest part is the 8 hrs a day from about 3pm to when you go to bed. I filled that time with long walks, tea, water, club soda and lots of movies, qresearch, and solitaire. It really wasn’t that bad. I usually drink coffee with cream so eliminating coffee was the hardest part. Other than that it really was a breeze. I read about all the stages you body goes through multiple times for motivation and to stay focused. Just remember to eat a light meal like soup to transition back to eating
