The King James makes debts a sin to be forgiven.

The New Catholic version removes the sin of debt and instead makes trespass the sin.

I don't remember trespass being in the 10 Commandments, except for maybe coveting what is your neighbors. And debt, could that be under Thou shalt not steal? (usury) But why would the person borrowing be counted with the lender?

If lending at interest is wrong (theft), then wouldn't borrowing which enables the lender also wrong?

Is the person paying a blackmail just as guilty as the blackmailer?
