Because you just ‘knew’? Like a radio signal in your mind? How do you do it?
This would all make sense if you realize they want to seize Mar-a-Lago in an asset forfeiture. If they can only get a judgment for $15mil against Trump. Otherwise, why negate his wealth? If you are trying for a ‘cash’ judgment, then wouldn’t you want to overstate his assets to get more money from him as punitive damages?
<Florida Homestead law.
They go by the law? Does it look like they are respecting the law? Or that they have yet to find a law they won’t bend or break to use law as a weapon? There is no other reason to undervalue a defendant/ respondent’s property. Like in a divorce, no one tries to undervalue the opposing side’s property- unless you want to buy it (or seize it) cheap.
