§ 6. The Speaker Pro Tempore

Appointment or Election

The Speaker may appoint a Speaker pro tempore. Such an appointment

may not exceed three legislative days, except that in the case of illness the

Speaker’s appointment may extend to 10 days with the approval of the

House. Rule I clause 8. For longer periods, a Speaker pro tempore is elected

by the House.

The Roosevelt Hotel NYC

100s of migrants are coming and going from the hotel. Staff told me that it's it been busier than ever here tonight. Random busses and cars are dropping off migrants at the hotel .

Business owners are complaining that some migrants are being rude to them and demanding free stuff any time they walk in. Hotel staff are telling me some migrants are demanding they buy stuff for them. One staff member told me the migrants said, " The government gave you money for us, and we want it , you need to buy us what we want."

NYC officials are stating that without federal help, they can handle the city will be destroyed.
