Hey Anons.
I need your help.
I got this super woke co-worker who thinks he's the smartest person alive.
Whenever we disagree on something he bombards me with articles that supports his arguments.
For example, we recently discussed the Spanish Flu and the finding that most didn't die from the flu, but bacterial pneumoni and that I had heard it attributed to the excessive mask use. To which he found 3 different articles written by the NIH cherry picking statements from those articles to 'debunk' my statement. The articles are long and I don't have time to read them while we are discussing the issue. But when I later go through and read the articles i find out that the cherrypicked parts of the articles, put in the correct context doesn't say what he claims and often the exact opposite.
As forexample with the Spanish Flu mask example, NIH was quick to admit that they didn't know what caused the deaths, but it definitely wasn't the mask they claim based on nothing but quotes from "experts" who finds the notion 'unlikely'.
I need to figure out how to fight against his information overload tactic because it drives me insane that I keep losing arguments to that fuckhead only to later find out that he was at best ignorant and at worst a lying manipulative asshole.
