A lot of cultist are traumatised deliberatly as children. Usually their fingers are broken by "therapists" but any "shit kicking" of a child by NPC bullIes, or ghetto ferals can do it. The point is to eradicate compassion and produce an entity who thinks and will learn to exploit the human cognitive vulnerabilities and perpetuate the endless cycles of revenge and retribution.
