Hospice is a humane ending to an inhumane experience. By the time anyone is even eligible for hospice they must have a terminal illness designation from their medical doctor. That means that no further medical intervention can help them. So the medical system has extracted every once of energy and money they can get out of that body and they give up. Hospice is peace at the end of a horrific journey. Hate the system not the hospice. The system is horrific and more diabolical than you can even imagine.
