An Egyptian policeman shot dead two Israeli tourists in Alexandria on Sunday, Al-Qahira News channel said, citing an Egyptian security source.Additionally, an Egyptian citizen was killed and another injured during the same incident.
The suspected shooter has been apprehended and is currently under investigation by authorities, according to the source.
The policeman, part of the security services in Al-Mansheya neighbourhood, opened fire “randomly” while a group of Israeli tourists was visiting the Pompey's Pillar monument, the source added.
