Think logically.
If the globalists continue to push tyrannical laws, they will eventually win, especially if their opposition simply lays down. This is the most desirable path to victory for the globalist. It is the one with the least effort and least risk for them.
However
If their opposition rises up to combat injustice and tyranny then, the globalists have the cause they need to unleash the total power at their disposal. A power so great, they believe, that will ensure their victory. This path is frought with unknowns and provides at least a chance of defeat for the globalists. That chance is predicated on the will of their opposition and their love of liberty and freedom being greater than laziness. The globalists believe patriots do not have the stomach for a real fight to the end. Thus, in their mind, they will win, either way.
