…According to Papadopoulos, the FBI tried to entrap him by having an Israeli agent engage him in a phony "consulting" contract paying him $10,000 in cash. When that snare didn't close, they accused him of spreading gossip about Hillary Clinton's emails allegedly hacked by Russians. They accused him of "lying to the FBI" when he failed to recall a gossip session he was invited to by Alexander Downer, Australia's ambassador to Britain.
Papadopoulos says the FBI intimidated him with threats of prosecution on several bizarre charges and placed him in cuffs and shackles to scare him. He thinks the FBI and U.S. and international intelligence agents had these motives:

This tells us all we need to know about the motives of the hyper-partisan FBI agents who went after Trump and his people. Now we have learned that another operative, presumably paid by Democrats, named Igor Dachenko has been indicted for lying to FBI by inventing the allegations compiled in the fraudulent Steele Dossier that was used to gin up the "Mueller Investigation" — which turned up nothing other than indictments on technicalities of Papadopoulos and of non-Collusion charges of income tax evasion by Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen.
The book is a credible and well-documented account of the FBI and Intelligence Community's plot against Trump and his campaign staffers.

''Lt. Col. Roy Levy, who was seriously injured while commanding the Golani reconnaissance battalion during Operation Protective Edge in the summer of 2014, will be appointed next summer commander of the Egoz Reconnaissance Unit, Yedioth Ahronoth reports Sunday. ''
The unit will become on Sunday part of the IDF's new commando brigade, which consolidates four of the IDF's most elite Special Forces unit: Duvdevan, Maglan, Rimon, and, of course, Egoz.
Levy will replace Lt. Col. Y. as commander of the Egoz Reconnaissance Unit. Y. was critically injured during the Protective Edge battle in Saja'iyya, but was able to return to duty and command his unit.
Lt. Col. Y served in the elite Sayeret Matkal unit as both soldier and officer eventually becoming deputy commander of the unit. Two months before Operation Protective Edge, he was given command of Egoz and led its soldiers in Gaza.
On the second day of fighting, during a raid in southern Saja'iyya, several mortar shells exploded, critically wounding Y. and killing Staff Sergeants Tal Yifrah and Yuval Dagan. A total of 12 other soldiers and officers involved in the battle were also injured.
Lt. Col. Y. was evacuated under fire to a hospital where doctors fought for his life. Despite a physical handicap in his left hand, Y. insisted on returning and commanding the unit.
It was recently decided his replacement should be Lt. Col. Levy, who was also seriously injured leading his fighters in the Saja'iyya battle.
Levy was seriously injured while his deputy, Major Tzafrir Bar-Or and the reconnaissance battalion's operation officer, Captain Tzvika Kaplan were killed after anti-tank missiles were fired at a house on the outskirts of Saja'iyya the unit was in.
After recovering, Levy was unable to return to the reconnaissance battalion, instead taking command of one of the units at the IDF's school for officers. Two weeks ago, he was informed he would become commander of the Egoz Reconnaissance Unit.
When that occurs, Egoz will no longer be under the auspices of the Golani Brigade, rather the new commando brigade. Levy's direct superior, however, will be familiar to him as former Egoz and Unit 51 commander, Colonel David Zinni.

Unit 621, otherwise known as Egoz[1] (Hebrew: יחידת אגוז, Yehidat Egoz. lit. "Nut"), is an elite Israel Defense Forces (IDF) commando unit specializing in guerrilla warfare, special reconnaissance, and direct action (military).
Prior to 2000, Egoz operated mainly in Lebanon, combating threats from Hezbollah. Following Israel's withdrawal from Southern Lebanon, the unit shifted the focus of its operations to the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
Service in Egoz
Egoz recruits undergo basic and advanced infantry training with the Golani Brigade.[2] Unit recruits then begin an intense 16-month training program to become Egoz special forces operators. One of the most rigorous and physically demanding training regimens in the Israel Defense Forces, Egoz prepares its soldiers for operations in multiple environments in and around Israel and the Palestinian Territories, including the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to longer-range operations behind enemy lines in Lebanon and Syria. Egoz is a flexible and highly trained unit tasked with multiple missions that include irregular warfare, special reconnaissance, direct action, counter-terrorism, and joint special operations. Egoz missions are executed in small teams and are highly classified. The IDF does not disclose information on the unit or the operations in which the unit takes part in.
History
Unit Egoz was named after the 1956 special forces reconnaissance unit known as (Sayeret) Egoz. Following a friendly-fire incident, Sayeret Egoz was disbanded, and then restored in 1964, when it continued to operate under the Northern Command. In 1974 it was disbanded once more due to manpower shortages following the Yom Kippur War.
In the 2006 Lebanon War, five Egoz operators were killed and six wounded in the Battle of Maroun al-Ras, following a direct hit by an AT-3 Sagger anti-tank missile. An estimated 13 members of Hezbollah were killed.[6]
In Operation Protective Edge, three members of Unit Egoz were killed during unit operations in the Gaza Strip. On 21 July 2014, in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood of Gaza City, Egoz forces engaged and neutralized ten Hamas militants, including one that detonated a suicide vest.[7]
Training
Egoz training is split into multiple phases:
4 months basic and advanced infantry training within the Golani Brigade
2 weeks Airborne School
10 months advanced Commando brigade training pipeline.
At the completion of the first phase, recruits begin a specialized training regimen in the Commando Brigade. Each Egoz recruit goes through extensive background checks and interviews by Israeli intelligence to determine whether or not they should be screened out of the second phase of training.
Those that continue training with the unit begin an intensive ten-month Egoz training program. The training program in Egoz is known to be one of the toughest in the IDF, as can be explained by the notably high drop rate of recruits.
The Egoz training program is designed to bring recruits to their mental and physical limits in order to prepare them for their operational service.
Among other things, the recruits train in extensive long-range navigation/orienteering, camouflage, reconnaissance, counterterrorism, and various kinds of warfare and assaults.
Egoz is one of a few units in the IDF that trains its recruits in long-range solo navigations.
In addition to other highly classified unit-specific courses, every Egoz soldier completes the IDF commanders' course.
