White House hopes to merge Ukraine and Israeli aid – media

The measure could push pro-Israel Republicans to support new assistance for Kiev

Top White House officials are considering whether to include more Ukraine funding in an emergency aid package for Israel, multiple news outlets have reported. One staffer suggested the move would force “far-right”lawmakers to authorize additional aid for Kiev.

Though President Joe Biden had already announced that military assistance was “on its way” to Israel following a surprise attack by Palestinian militants over the weekend, the White House has signaled that it would soon ask Congress to approve additional aid for the Jewish state.

Lawmakers in both parties and senior administration officials have hinted that the aid package could also include provisions for Ukraine, unnamed sources told the Washington Post, NBC News and other outlets on Monday.

Though no final decision has been made, one anonymous official told the Post that the move would be wise because it “jams the far right” – referring to Republicans who vocally support Israel but are skeptical of continued aid to Ukraine. White House spokesman John Kirby, meanwhile, declined to say whether the two aid packages would be linked, only stating “We believe both are important.”

While debate over the aid is likely to be contentious, the Pentagon has insisted that it has plenty of weapons for all US partners. During a background briefing on Monday, a senior defense official told reporters thatWashington could “continue our support both to Ukraine, Israel, and maintain our own global readiness,” noting that the US has been able to meet “every request that our Israeli counterparts have made.” (Really? What has been the Pentagon been doing with the foreign invasion of terrorists into out southern border? This is how much this government hates the American people!)

Israel is among the largest recipients of US foreign aid, taking in some $3.3 billion in American tax dollars in 2022 alone– a comparable amount to previous years – according to US government statistics. Since the conflict with Russia escalated in February 2022,Ukrainehas also become a major beneficiary, with the White House approving at least$45 billion in direct military aidthrough 47 separate transfers.

Both Republicans and Democrats have largely voiced support for Israel after the deadly Hamas attack early on Saturday morning, which has prompted harsh retaliation by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and an intense bombing campaign on Gaza. More than 1,500 people have been killed on both sides of the conflict so far, while Palestinian fighters claim to have captured more than 100 Israeli and foreign hostages during their raids.

Thousands of Israelis and Palestinians have evacuated their homes due to the violent flare-up, while the IDF has called on 300,000 reservists as it mobilizes for a larger conflict. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that his country was in a state of “war” as the attack unfolded, and said on Monday thatthe military response was “just getting started.”

(I suspect Bidan Admin allowed this attack on Israel, along with Israel allowing it to divert attention to all of Bidan’s failures and poor polling. Israel ignored it because they really want to glass Gaza out of existence along with Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran. Bidan is using it because first, his money laundering through Kiev is coming to and end and will now work with Israel to become the new tap. Bidan is also doing it because Trump is far ahead of him in all polls; and they cannot do another indictment because that is having the opposite effect. Bidan can never be a wartime president, he actually creates wars, but the NWO is desperate to continue the charade he is president.)

Ukraine looking for more debt deals – Reuters

Bondholders agreed last year to freeze payments until 2024, but Kiev wants to “tap markets early,” the news agency says

Kiev is negotiating with foreign lenders regarding the restructuring of its debt and is looking for ways to borrow more money, Reuters has reported. It follows a decision by the US Congress to omit additional aid for Ukraine from its latest spending bill.

Ukraine owes some $20 billion to bondholders, who agreed in August 2022 to freeze payments for two years.

However, the government’s commissioner for public debt, Yury Butsa, has been informally contacting creditors to discuss a new postponement, the news agency said on Monday, citing three sources familiar with the matter.

Formal talks are scheduled to start early next year, but Kiev wants “to tap markets early,”one of the sources explained.

Overhauling the country’s debt is part of the terms of a $15.6 billion loan approved by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in April.

According to Reuters, Ukraine wants to issue new bonds to existing holders as part of a proposed restructuring. The lenders will likely require some form of “credit enhancement” – collateral or debt guarantees from Ukraine’s foreign sponsors – one of the sources said.

Last year’s debt relief covered around 75% of Ukrainian bonds and was designed to prevent a default. Prime Minister Dmitry Shmygal said at the time that Kiev had saved almost $6 billion in payments thanks to the scheme.

Major bilateral creditors agreed in March to extend the suspension of Ukrainian debt service to 2027.

BlackRock, one of the world’s largest asset managers, is among the biggest private creditors of Ukraine. It also advises the country’s government on how to “attract private and public capital for implementing large-scale business projects,” according to the office of President Vladimir Zelensky.

Kiev’s efforts to reduce debt payments predate the outbreak of open hostilities with Russia last year. In 2015, a year after a Western-backed armed coup in the capital toppled the Ukrainian government, it restructured some $15 billion in of its bond debt, shortly after receiving a $40 billion bailout package arranged by the IMF.

Ukraine has refused to pay the $3 billion in bonds it owed to Russia, which were purchased in late 2013, claiming that the government of then-president Viktor Yanukovich was forced to issue it by Moscow. A legal battle over the debt, which has since accumulated interest leaving the total amount owed at $4.5 billion, is ongoing in the UK, since the bonds were issued under English law.

Russian MP Vyacheslav Volodin, the chairman of the State Duma, describedUkraine as a bankrupt nation last year, citing its dependence on aid and credit

(This is the reason why Ukraine will never be invited into the EU and NATO because its been a perpetual welfare state, that will never pay its debts.)

Voltaire famously stated, “whoever can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.” It is helpful to see the following full quote in which this line appears, to understand the meaning of this oft-cited maxim:

“Formerly there were those who said: You believe things that are incomprehensible, inconsistent, impossible because we have commanded you to believe them; go then and do what is unjust because we command it. Such people show admirable reasoning. Truly, whoever can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities. If the God‐given understanding of your mind does not resist a demand to believe what is impossible, then you will not resist a demand to do wrong to that God-given sense of justice in your heart. As soon as one faculty of your soul has been dominated, other faculties will follow as well. And from this derives all those crimes of religion which have overrun the world.”

Biden questioned in classified documents probe

The White House stressed that the discussions with the special counsel team were “voluntary”

US President Joe Biden met with federal investigators multiple times in recent days, as the Justice Department seeks to determine how classified documents wound up in his home and personal office without proper approval.

The president sat down with Special Counsel Robert Hur to discuss the documents case on Sunday and Monday, the White House confirmed, noting that the interviews had “concluded” and were strictly “voluntary.”

“As we have said from the beginning, the president and the White House are cooperating with this investigation, and as it has been appropriate, we have provided relevant updates publicly,” White House spokesman Ian Sams said in a statement, vowing to be “as transparent as we can” while preserving “the integrity of the investigation.”

The Justice Department launched the documents probe last November, after the president’s lawyers reported that a trove of secret files had been found in one of Biden’s private offices. Additional material later turned up at Biden’s Delaware home, and in January Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Hur to lead an investigation into “the possible unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents.”

Hur has reportedly questioned Biden’s “closest aides and advisers” as part of a “quiet inquiry”over the past nine months, including top officials such as Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, according to the New York Times.

Investigators have worked to determine the chain of custody for the sensitive documents, and whether Biden’s team “adhered to security protocols in handling and packing up official documents and private notes from his vice presidency,” the outlet added.

Until Monday, it was unclear whether the president would submit for an in-person interview, with the White House declining to comment on the matter previously. Hur’s team has similarly offered few details about the investigation to the public.

The Biden probe coincided with another major classified documents case involving former President Donald Trump, who was indicted on 37 felony counts linked to the alleged mishandling of secret files in June. Federal agents previously raided the ex-president’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida and turned up a large number of classified papers, though Trump maintains he was authorized to possess the documents and denies any wrongdoing.

(The old saying comes up, “If the was Trump” would the interviews voluntary? Of course not so this is proof the Hur info was to give people false hope once again that justice would be served.Durr Hur Durr.)

SOVEREIGN BRAH 🇺🇸🏛️⚡️

K.I’ve kept an eye on this Israel situation for the past few days.

Here’s what I’ve learned, & here are my blunt & honest thoughts:

  1. Israel chose to ignore intelligence from Egyptian officials about a major attack coming from Hamas.

  1. Multiple former IDF soldiers & Israeli intelligence personnel have come forward online and said there’s a zero percent chance Israel was unaware of this attack beforehand or couldn’t have prevented it.

  1. We just watched unsophisticated terrorists on hang gliders soar into one of the most heavily-defended & surveilled countries on the planet.

  1. Within 48 hours of the attack, we’re now suddenly seeing enormous support for an American war with Iran and the genocide of the Palestinian people.

I’m witnessing American pastors and formerly level-headed influencers in our world completely lose their minds and call for genocide.

It’s unsurprising, but insane to watch.

If the events of the past three years have taught me anything, it’s that when people get whipped into an emotional frenzy, critical thinking completely goes out the window.

People become highly suggestible and will rush to extremely dangerous conclusions without thinking about the consequences.

I think this is what we’re all witnessing with this situation in Israel.

I’m reminded of Pearl Harbor and 9/11.

In both scenarios, the American government received intelligence in advance of the attacks, but chose not to prevent the attacks.

Why?

The American government was willing to sacrifice the lives of American citizens in order to advance its geopolitical goals.

Pearl Harbor gave the justification to enter WWII.

9/11 gave justification to invade the Middle East & drastically expand the American military industrial complex & our surveillance apparatus.

They were brutal & extremely traumatic events for the American public to witness. The emotional trauma caused people to get whipped into an emotional frenzy.

America wanted ONE THING in response to these attacks:

The blood of our enemies.

I see the same psyop playing out now.

People are whipped into a frenzied bloodlust.

In their frenzied bloodlust, people are overlooking some SERIOUSLY important facts here, notably:

  1. The fact that none of this adds up,

  1. innocent civilians are being threatened with genocide, and

  1. Escalated violence in the Middle East and a war with Iran both risk the rest of the planet getting dragged into WWIII.

What happened in Israel this weekend was obviously gut-wrenching and awful to witness, but I do not trust Israel’s so-called “intelligence failure”, nor do I trust the snakes in Washington calling for war with Iran, & I sure as hell no longer trust any of the emotionally-frenzied influencers calling for explicit genocide of innocent civilians.

This was a defining moment in history, similar to Pearl Harbor, 9/11, COVID, the beginning of the Ukraine war, etc, and a lot of people just got played.

Hard.

People responded by going full mask-off, exposing themselves as reckless & incapable of exercising sound judgment in moments of chaos and heightened emotion.

And we’re now at the brink of WWIII because of it.

This is all worth noting.

There’s a high likelihood there will be more chaos throughout the rest of this decade.

There will be more psychological operations.

There will be more moments in time in which cooler heads ought to prevail, but people will get whipped into an emotional frenzy instead.

Keep your wits about you, & be cautious in whom you allow yourself to be influenced by.

Recognize that governments & intelligence agencies spend enormous resources waging psychological operations on social media nonstop when stuff like this goes down.

Remember that when chaos is at its peak, history shows there is ALMOST ALWAYS a hidden agenda being played out, & that hidden agenda is ALWAYS designed to prey on our base emotions to facilitate a desired end-result.

Pray for world peace tonight.

Thanks. 🤙

Israel Ignored Egyptian Warnings that Hamas was Planning ‘Something Big’: Report

'We have warned them an explosion of the situation is coming,' an Egyptian intelligence official told the Associated Press

Published 10/09/23 07:43 AM ET|Updated 20

Egyptian intelligence repeatedly told Israel that Hamas was planning “something big,” but the warnings were discounted, an intelligence official in Cairo told the Associated Press on Monday, underscoring the failures that allowed the militant Islamist group to mount a devastating raid over the weekend.

"We have warned them an explosion of the situation is coming, and very soon, and it would be big,” the official, whose name was not disclosed, told AP.

“But they underestimated such warnings."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has since denied that Egypt warned=• them of an imminent Hamas incursion, adding that such claims are a "complete lie"==, according to a report.

“Israeli Prime Minister's office says reports about a warning that was passed from Egypt ahead of the Gaza war are false,” Axios correspondent Barak Ravid said on X, the former Twitter.

Egypt often mediates between Israel and Palestinian factions, and the two countries are close security partners. An estimated 700 Israelis were killed in the multi-pronged Hamas attack, and more than 400 Palestinians have died in reprisal bombings in Gaza.

Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, Israel’s chief military spokesman, told reporters the army would get to the bottom of its failures. "First, we fight, then we investigate," he said.

Experts, and current and former officials say Israel had grown to rely on its technological advantage in monitoring Hamas-ruled Gaza, even as Hamas leaders stopped using mobile phones and computers to evade detection. (Extremely doubtful)

"They've gone back to the Stone Age," Amir Avivi, a retired Israeli general, told AP. “The other side learned to deal with our technological dominance and they stopped using technology that could expose it."

Palestinians search for survivors after an Israeli airstrike on buildings in the refugee camp of Jabalia in the Gaza Strip on October 9, 2023. Israel relentlessly pounded the Gaza Strip early Monday as fighting raged with Hamas around the Gaza Strip and the death toll from the war against the Palestinian militants surged above 1,100.

"This is a major failure," said Yaakov Amidror, a former national security adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "This operation actually proves that the [intelligence] abilities in Gaza were no good."

While Hamas went through months of drills and preparation for its deadly assault, Israel was focused on its northern border, where it saw the Hezbollah militia as a bigger threat, and on the West Bank, where a campaign of intimidation of Palestinians by Israeli settlers had led to increased clashes with militants in Jenin and other towns, experts said.

The Israeli military also was distracted by a protracted struggle over Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s efforts to curb the power of Israel’s judiciary that has split Israeli society. Hundreds of Israeli reservists threatened to boycott military service over the plan.

“Hamas knows Israel is deeply divided,” Joost Hilterman, head of Middle East programs at the International Crisis Group, told The Messenger.

The judicial fight “roiled the IDF in a way that was, I think, we discovered was a huge distraction,” Martin Indyk, a former U.S. special envoy for Israel-Palestinian negotiations, told AP. (This right here is why Israel allowed it!The people don’t like Netanyahu or IDF, but they will come to love their saviors, is probably their goal.)

(Netanyahu is willing to alienate an ally to keep the lie “major Intelligence failure”, tells you a lot, its a complete psyop.)

Trump accuses Biden of betraying Israel during New Hampshire stop

Story by Naomi Lim •

19h

Former President Donald Trump railed against President Joe Biden for wreaking "weakness, conflict, and chaos" with his foreign policy after Hamas's deadly terrorist attacks against Israel.

Biden "betrayed" Israel, according to Trump, who promised that if he wins the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, as he is poised to do, and next year's election, he would "once again stand strongly" with the ally.

"This war happened for three reasons: the allowing by the Biden administration of Iran to sell massive amounts of oil, making $60 billion dollars … the United States giving Iran $6 billion dollars ransom money … and our country’s perceived weakness with an incompetent and corrupt leader, Joe Biden, who’s laughed at all over the world," he said Monday during a rally in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

"We will cut off the money to Palestinian terrorists on Day One and reimpose the travel ban on terror-afflicted countries," he added.

Speaking off-script as he experienced teleprompter problems, Trump, who also promoted his Israel-Arab relations normalization deal, the Abraham Accords, quipped “Biden would be in "big trouble" if that happened to him and joked about how the incumbent president repeatedly becomes "lost" after delivering an address. Trump additionally condemned his "high-level election interference" indictments, pledging "the gloves are off" and bragging about his improved poll numbers.

Trump, too, criticized Biden for inflation and immigration policies. The former president contended New Hampshire, a swing state that splits its Electoral College votes, had been "sold out" and "ripped off" by globalists" from Washington and Wall Street. He also described former President Barack Obama as Biden's "boss" and sarcastically called former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton "beautiful."

THREE POINTS ON ISRAEL-HAMAS WAR: SCALED THREAT, INTELLIGENCE FAILURE, POLITICAL RAMIFICATIONS

"Every time the radical left Democrats, Marxist, communist fascists indict me, I consider it a great badge of honor because I am being indicted for you," he said.

"Crooked Joe puts China first, he puts Mexico first, Ukraine first, Europe first, Asia first, illegal aliens first, environmental lunatics and maniacs first," Trump said. "He puts America last, he puts our workers last, he puts our industries last, he puts your families last, he puts everything that’s good last.

"You pay the highest energy costs anywhere in the country — you know that, right?" he asked. "There's no reason for it."

Unseriousness Becomes Serious

Chris Bray

In September of 2021, the leaders of the National School Boards Association wrote to President Joe Biden to warn him thatschool boards were the victims of a terrifying wave of domestic terror attacks. For example,

• parents were attending school board meetings to criticize mask mandates,

• and some of them were yelling.

• Many school board members had received email messages that criticized school policies.

• Chillingly, some parents even went so far as to post criticism on social media.

As these acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials have increased, the classification of these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes. As such, NSBA requests a joint expedited review by the U.S. Departments of Justice, Education, and Homeland Security, along with the appropriate training, coordination, investigations, and enforcement mechanisms from the FBI, including any technical assistance necessary from, and state and local coordination with, its National Security Branch and Counterterrorism Division, as well as any other federal agency with relevant jurisdictional authority and oversight.

Helpfully turning to specifics, they asked the president to respond by using “the PATRIOT Act in regards to domestic terrorism.”

Like most of you, I’m guessing, I spent the weekend watching footage of terrorism in Israel:

I mostly have nothing to add, because you already know what it is, and you already know what to think of it. But the extraordinary seriousness of the moment reminds me of Warren Buffet’s famous observation about recessions and investors:When the tide goes out, you discover who’s been swimming naked.

When serious moments arrive, entire eras of unseriousness are exposed in a flash. Entire structures and systems of unseriousness stand there naked, blinking in the light.

• Parking trucks and honking horns is terrorism.

• Bouncy castles are terrorism.

• Criticizing the handling of ballots is terrorism.

• Viking horns dork is a terrorist.

• Parents at school board meetings are terrorists.

None of it is quite like flying paragliders into a rave and murdering everyone who doesn’t run fast enough, but trust us, it’s terrorism.

Canada Has ‘Debanked’ Hundreds of Citizens, Report Shows

Frank BergmanOctober 9, 2023 - 12:51 pm

Canada has “debanked” hundreds of Canadian citizens in the past five years, a new report has revealed. Since 2018, a major debanking wave has swept across Canada, affecting over 800 citizens so far.

The number includes hundreds of brave citizens who had risen up against the far-left government as part of the Freedom Convoy protests. The data was unearthed through an access-to-information request by Blacklock’s Reporter.

The information unveiled a disturbing pattern where 837 individuals had their bank accounts shut downover a span of five years. Most of those people to were debanked had disented from the Canadian government’s official agenda.

The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada was brought into the loop through grievances lodged with regulatory bodies. The agency shed light on financial strangulation that bypassed cases of validated terrorism and money laundering.

In a deeper dive into the numbers, it’s revealed that the financial shackles tightened around 267 bank accounts and 170 Bitcoin wallets belonging to Freedom Convoy supporters. The total help in the accounts that were shut downwas estimated at $7.8 million.

This exercise in financial censorship spun a web of scrutiny during a hearing onMarch 7, 2022.

Angelina Mason, representing the Bankers Association, testified during the hearing.

Mason outlined that while the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) supplied a list of names, banks were also mandated by separate orders to exercise their judgment in identifying account holders for debanking.

The narrative grew murkier when New Democrat MP Daniel Blaikiequeried about the fate of individualswho were debanked but never featured on the list provided to the RCMP.Mason’s one-word response was a stark “Yes.”

As Slay News reported last year, Canada’s liberal Prime MinisterJustin Trudeauwas interviewed over his role in shutting down bank accounts to quell protests against his tyrannical pandemic policies. Trudeau has said that he felt “serene” while he was ordering the bank accounts of Freedom Convoy protesters to be frozen.

Trudeau made the comment during his testimony before the Public Order Emergency Commission (POEC). The PM tried to justify his use of the Emergencies Act to stop the Freedom Convoy protests.

During the protests, he used the Emergencies Act to blacklist and freeze the bank accounts of protesters who were supporting civil liberties.Trudeau admitted that the protests were not violentbut still insisted that he is “confident” with his decision to use a law that has never been used before to stop the protests.

• “There was no loss of life,” Trudeau testified.

• “There was no serious violence.

• “There hasn’t been a recurrence of these kinds of illegal occupations since then.

“I am absolutely serene and confident that I made the right choice in agreeing with the invocation,” Trudeau declared.

The commission isinvestigating whether the government’s decision to use the Emergencies Act was justifiable.Trudeau said that the “responsibility of a prime minister is to make the tough calls and keep people safe.”

Before the Emergencies Act was invoked, Trudeau said that those opposing Covid measures and restrictions were of a “small, fringe minority” who had “unacceptable views.”

The Serene Communist Dictator is pleased with his decisions

The success of this by the West, was the justification on seizing the assets of Russia WW and outright stealing them along with sanctions. Remember this event was occurring at the same time as the Russian Operation got started, and the Operation blotted out the illegal actions of Trudeau at that point.

The West used the success of Trudeau debanking people as the roadmapof what they wanted to do to Russia and others that wouldn’t bend the knee to complete tyranny.

I had no idea its been occurring over the last five years in Canada.

Kevin McCarthy Opens Door to Another Run for House Speaker

October 9, 2023 - 12:25 pm

Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has opened the door to the possibility of running for House speaker again. During a new interview, McCarthy refused to rule out another run for his old job, provoking speculation he may be planning another bid.

As Slay News reported, McCarthy had previously said he would not run again as speaker. His comments seemingly closed off any avenue to a possible return and opened the door to other GOP candidates such as Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH).

However, conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt asked McCarthy whether he would be open to serving as speaker again if the House was unable to decide on a replacement.

The House GOP scheduled a new speaker election for this Wednesday. McCarthy would not say no, as the Hill reported.

• “Look, the conference has to make that decision,” McCarthy said.

• “I’m still a member,” he added.

• “I’m going to continue to fight and act.

Hewitt pressed McCarthy once more whether he would be willing to return as speaker if the eight Republicans who opposed him backed off.The congressman again refused to rule out the possibility.

“Look, whatever the conference wants, I will do,” he said.

“I think we need to be strong.

“I think we need to be united.

“The eight, in my view, don’t look to be — it was a personal thing.”

McCarthy also blasted the rebel Republicans who voted against the GOP-only stopgap proposal to fund the federal government. He then defended his surrender to the Democrats on the final bill.

“They’re the ones who wanted a government shutdown,” McCarthy said.

“We wouldn’t be paying our troops while we’re putting out a carrier strike fighter there – 30,000 American men and women in our armed services in the Middle East wouldn’t be being paid right now?

“I mean, what weakness would we be at?”

The Hill notes that a handful of Republicans have said McCarthy should be reinstated as speaker.California congressmen John Duarte and Tom McClintockargue that McCarthy should return in light of the terror attack in Israel launched by Hamas. (Primary these assholes.)

Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz’s (R-FL) motion to vacate the chair against McCarthy passed after a vote on the House Floor last Tuesday. This officially removed him from the top job in the House.

Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC), a McCarthy ally, was then appointed as acting Speaker. In his first act as Speaker pro tempore, McHenry ordered former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to “immediately vacate” her private office in the Capitol, as Slay News reported.

(This is exactly the reason why Jordan should not be elected speaker. He’s too beholden to McCarthy and will just continue his policies of deception and lies.)

Pro-Israel Protesters Ordered to Stay Home While Radical Muslims Flood Sydney Streets Chanting ‘Gas the Jews’

Frank BergmanOctober 10, 2023 - 8:08 am

Disturbing scenes have been emerging from Sydney, Australia as authorities drag Jewish citizens away and order pro-Israel protesters to stay home as radical Muslims flood the streets chanting “gas the Jews.”

Pro-Hamas protesters have been demonstrating on the streets in support of the horrific terror attacks in Israel that have seen hundreds of innocent people murdered, raped, and kidnapped.

Outside the iconic Sydney Opera House on Monday night, police allowed anti-Semitic protesters to burn the Star of David while shouting “f**k the Jews” and the “Allahu Akbar” chant that’s synonymous with Islamic terrorism.

Despite authorities giving the anti-Jewish protesters free rein, cops cracked down on pro-Israel demonstrations, with one protester arrested and dragged away by police for trying to fly an Israeli flag.

The “despicable” scenes have been roundly condemned by leaders from across the political spectrum. The anti-Jewish rally was organized by the Palestine Action Group Sydney.

Vast numbers of pro-Hamas activists gathered at Town Hall in Sydney’s CBD on Monday evening before marching to the Opera House. The sails of the Opera House were lit up in blue and white in support of Israel. However, the sails were only lit up for a short time and the colors were muted.

Israeli supporters were forced to stay away, with some only being able to see the illumination from the other side of Circular Quay. There were scenes of chaos at the Opera House as the demonstration was led by radical Muslims.

Pro-Hamas thugs wearing black masksgathered beneath the steps of the iconic harborside venue and threw lit flares at police while chanting “f*** Israel” and “gas the Jews.”

Police stood by as radical Muslims burned the Israel flag and shouted “f**k the Jews.”

The Daily Mail Australia witnessed a large crowd of men setting an Israeli flag alight with firecrackers before stamping on it and tearing it to shreds.Cries of “Allahu Akbar”(God is great in Arabic) and “death to the Jews” rang out as some members of the crowd swarmed towards the police barrier, brandishing torn pieces of the Israeli flag.

WATCH:

The violent aggression flowed freely despite the rally organizers calling for protesters to respect the police. Over 100 cops formed a ring of steel along the steps of the Opera House and didn’t intervene when flares or other projectiles were thrown at them by pro-Hamas activists.

Instead, they placed the lit flares in buckets of water as acrid smoke filled the air. The hands-off approach toward radical activists is prompting accusations of bias given that pro-Israel protesters were arrested by police for attempting to wave the Israeli flag.

As protesters arrived at Town Hall earlier in the evening, aman clutching an Israeli flag was dragged awayby three police officers for “disrupting the peace.” He was dragged away before he even had a chance to unfurl the flag.

In a video of the incident shared on Twitter/X, the man can be heard repeatedly saying “I’ve done nothing wrong.” An officer told him: “You’ve been arrested in relation to a breach of the peace.”

A speaker then told the booing crowd: “Zionists don’t deserve our attention.”

(Australia is totally lost now!)

Walmart and Costco Agree to ‘Aggressive’ Price Cuts on Food After Canada Turns Up the Heat

They are among the top five chains promising to hold down costs after the Trudeau government threatened action over rising grocery bills

Canada's federal government received initial commitments from the country's five largest grocery chains to stabilize food prices, it announced Thursday.

The government said that the grocers will support its efforts to stabilize rising food prices, and that the grocery chains will propose “concrete actions” to keep prices down by Thanksgiving, which falls on Oct. 9.

Each grocer has already identified initial actions that they will implement in the coming days and weeks, including “aggressive” discounts across key food products, price freezes and price-matching campaigns, according to the statement. The government also said it will establish a Grocery Task Force, which will monitor the grocers’ commitments and investigate practices that hurt consumers, like "shrinkflation." On Sept. 21, the government introduced legislative amendments to increase competition in the grocery sector in an attempt to drive down prices.

“If we don't see results, we will take additional action to restore the food price stability that Canadians expect,” the government said in its release.

The announcement follows from a meetingheld last month by François-Philippe Champagne, the country’s Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, with executives from five chains — Metro, Loblaws, Empire, Walmart and Costco — that make up about 80% of the Canadian market to discuss food prices. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said last month that his governmentwas considering imposing taxes on the grocery chainsif they did not develop measures to grapple with rising food prices.

Annual inflation came in at 4% in August, an unwelcome acceleration from the 3.3% rate in July, Statistics Canada reported last month. Prices for food purchased in stores slowed to a still-high yearly rate of 6.9% in August, down from 8.5% in July. Much like the U.S. Federal Reserve, the Bank of Canada has been raising its interest rates to wrangle inflation down to its 2% target. The Canadian central bank held its rates at 5%, its highest level since 2001.

Bank of Canada official Nicolas Vincent warned that the practice of changing prices more often, which has become easier in places like grocery stores given electronic price tags, could make it more difficult for the government to tame inflation.

“In other words, if recent pricing behavior settles into a new normal, it could complicate our return to low, stable and predictable inflation,” Vincent said in a speech Tuesday. Canada is not the only country struggling with rising grocery prices. Last month, French supermarket chain Carrefourbegan placing “shrinkflation” labels on products that have gotten smaller but cost the same to pressure major suppliers, including Nestlé, PepsiCo and Unilever, to slash prices.

Retailers in the country are currently negotiating with major brands to usher in price cuts as shoppers turn to retailers’ private labelitems for some pricing relief.

Hegelian Dialect at its finest!

Benjamin Netanyahu Blamed by Top Israel Newspaper in Scathing Attack

By Brendan Cole On 10/9/23 at 4:22 AM EDT

Benjamin Netanyahu "bears responsibility" for the deadliest raid into Israeli territory in 50 years, newspaper Haaretz has said.

The left-leaning publication blamed intelligence failures and the Israeli prime minister's policy towards Palestinians for the attack by Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip that has so far killed hundreds of Israelis.

Israel has reported 900 soldiers and civilians killed, and Palestinian authorities have reported about 700 deaths in Gaza and the West Bank, the Associated Press said.

As the consequences of the deadliest raid into Israeli territory since Egypt and Syria's attacks in the 1973 Yom Kippur War continue to unravel, the editorial board of Israel's third-biggest newspaper said that the conflict "is the clear responsibility of one person: Benjamin Netanyahu."

The op-ed said that the prime minister had "completely failed to identify the dangers he was consciously leading Israel into" when he established a government of "annexation and dispossession" and by appointing Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben-Gvir to key positions.

Smotrich, a right-wing politician appointed minister of finance in 2022, has caused controversy by expanding Israeli settlements in the West Bank and opposing Palestinian statehood. Ben-Gvir is the security minister, who has faced charges of hate speech against Arabs.

The paper said that Netanyahu's foreign policy "openly ignored the existence and rights of Palestinians" and expected the Israeli prime minister to "certainly try to evade his responsibility and cast the blame on the heads of the army, Military Intelligence and the Shin Bet security service.

"However, the military and intelligence failure does not absolve Netanyahu of his overall responsibility for the crisis as he is the ultimate arbiter of Israeli foreign and security affairs."

The piece said that Netanyahu, who has faced repeated criticism from Haaretz during his time in office, had shaped the policy of the government led by Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, which aimed "to crush the Palestinian national movement in both its wings, in Gaza and the West Bank."

The newspaper said that after winning in the last election, his "fully-right government" had taken steps to to annex the West Bank and to carry out ethnic cleansing in parts of the Oslo-defined Area C, including the Hebron Hills and the Jordan Valley."

The piece criticized Netanyahu for a "massive expansion" of settlements and increasing the Jewish presence on Temple Mount near the Al Aqsa Mosque, as well as a peace deal with Saudi Arabia "in which the Palestinians get nothing."

"Signs of an outbreak of hostilities began in the West Bank, where Palestinians started feeling the heavier hand of the Israeli occupier," Haaretz said. "Hamas exploited the opportunity in order to launch its surprise attack."

The newspaper said Netanyahu's indictment in three corruption cases left him unable to look after state affairs and was behind his establishment of a "horrific coalition" and the "the enfeeblement of top army and intelligence officers."

"The price was paid by the victims of the invasion in the Western Negev," it said.

Majority of Americans — and even the majority of conservatives — support McCarthy's ouster - POLITICO

Last Tuesday, Democrats joined with Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and his small group of conservative allies to vote to strip McCarthy of his gavel.

A new CBS News poll found that a majority of Americans support the House’s move to oust Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) as speaker, with 60% of adults in the U.S. backing the removal.

The survey also noted that among those Americans who supported his ouster, 75% agreed with the sentiment that McCarthy wasn’t effective, an opinion that came after McCarthy cut a deal to avert a government shutdown last month, angering many of the members of the right flank of his party.

Notably, 54% of Americans who identified as conservative expressed approval for ousting McCarthy, while 70% of Americans who called themselves liberals backed the move.

Last Tuesday, Democrats joined with Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) and his small group of conservative allies to vote to strip McCarthy of his gavel.

The development has thrust the House into a new era of chaos, especially with the specter of another government shutdown just weeks away.

House Republicans are expected to meet this coming week to figure out a way forward. House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) has officially announced he would pursue the speakership, while former President Donald Trump has endorsed Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), who also formally expressed his bid.

It sets up a potentially messy battle to replace McCarthy, who has said he would not pursue another shot at the top job in the House.

The CBS News poll included 2,155 adults in the U.S. and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.

Last stand? (Delusional) DeSantis bets big on Iowa to topple Trump

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is betting big on Iowa in a gamble to close the polling gap between him and 2024 Republican primary front-runner former President Donald Trump.

DeSantis this week asked approximately a third of his aides in Tallahassee, Florida, to move to Iowa 3 1/2 months before the caucuses. But time and money are limited resources for the governor, once considered the GOP's best hope of undermining Trump.

DeSantis's strategy to make a stand in Iowa is "a long shot," but, at this point, it is "probably" his "only shot," according to Dan Schnur, communications director of Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain's 2000 presidential campaign.

"The odds of this working for him are slim, but it’s his last viable option," Schnur, the founder of the University of Southern California-Los Angeles Times state poll, told the Washington Examiner of DeSantis.

Nationally, DeSantis's share of the Republican primary vote has decreased from an average of 31% in January to 12.5% this week, according to RealClearPolitics. But while the governor is now in third place in New Hampshire behind Trump and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley with 10% support, he is in a more comfortable second in Iowa with 16% of the vote. Trump, however, retains 49%support in the Hawkeye State.

By redirecting resources to Iowa, DeSantis is seeking one of the "three tickets" out of the Hawkeye State, according to University of Iowa politics professor Timothy Hagle.

"We usually don't think of ourselves as the kingmaker," Hagle said. "It's more of separating the contenders from the pretenders."

But 2024 is not a typical primary election cycle because of Trump, a popular former president running for reelection whose campaign and allies have invested millions of dollars undercutting DeSantis.

"It's hard for [DeSantis] to break into that, but, by the same token, the other candidates really haven't done that much either," Hagle said. "As far as DeSantis's strategy of moving to Iowa, it's probably not a bad idea. It may not necessarily be successful, but he's done the work here and is doing the work here."

"We may not know until caucus night," he added. "It's very difficult to poll for the caucuses."

Regardless of polling, DeSantis could also have money problems. The governor's campaign and fundraising committees raised $15 million from July through September, with $13.5 million cash on hand, but only $5 million of that can be used during the primary. Meanwhile, Trump raised $45.5 million during the third financial quarter, with $37.5 million cash on hand.

"One of the nice things about Iowa is you don't have to have a lot of money to compete here," Hagle said. "Of course, as you get closer to the caucuses, that's where a lot of times people will be spending their money on media, television ads, and making sure people get out [to vote]."

But for Ronald Reagan biographer Craig Shirley, "drastic measures," includingDeSantis's Iowa strategy, tend to have the "smell of doom around them,"though McCain defied exceptions with his New Hampshire decision in 2008.

"Ted Kennedy moved his entire campaign operation to Illinois in the 1980 primary, but to no avail — Jimmy Carter still crushed him," Shirley said. "Such actions often signal the end of a campaign rather than the beginning."

DeSantis is returning to Iowa this weekend as he tries to travel to the state's 99 counties. After this weekend, the governor will have been to 74, according to DeSantis campaign spokesman Andrew Romeo.

"Sometimes people outside of Iowa don't understand when you're showing up at all 99 counties, that's not something that's going to show up in like poll results or anything," DeSantis told a local Iowa radio show this week. "You’re laying groundwork, you're building relationships, you're earning support that come to fruition on caucus night. I'm the only candidate that will do all 99 counties."

DeSantis's Iowa strategy coincides with his increased criticism of Trump, repeating, for example, that Trump is not "entitled" to the nomination as the former president complained this week that his optional appearances in a New York courtroom as Attorney General Letitia James litigates her civil fraud case against him were keeping him from the campaign trail. Trump has not been campaigning as much as his opponents and is required to attend his four federal and state criminal trials in person.

EXCLUSIVE: U.S. Counterterrorism Operator Vanishes after Claiming to Identify Jan. 6 Pipe Bomber

'Somebody doesn’t want that person to be found, and the most likely reason is that person is or was a federal source for some agency at some point…'

Posted by

Ken Silva

October 8, 2023

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) On June 8, 2022, a Twitter account linked to U.S. counterterrorism operator Jade Parker claimed to have identified the suspect who placed pipe bombs outside the RNC and DNC headquarters ahead of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill protest-turned-riot.

“I have a very good idea who the unidentified Jan 6 bomber & affiliated network [are],” stated the account linked to Parker—a credentialed terrorism analyst, who’s worked with numerous government agencies, including U.S. Joint Special Operations Command.

“I haven’t given the name to anyone. I want Upchurch & her red cell to run it down & get full credit in an official professional capacity if I’m right,” Parker’s account tweeted, presumably referencing her fellow terrorism researcher, H.E. Upchurch, who specializes in investigating neofascist networks.

“It’s information that’s worth $100,000 to the Department of Justice, so you can be sure none of this is about money.”

The next day, Parker’s account tweeted again.

“Terrorism tweeps, did you also see the part about how I used my research to find the identity of suspect who planted the DNC & RNC bombs on January 6? It’s a super interesting one if I’m right,” her account stated.

Then, Parker seemingly vanished.

Almost all traces of her have disappeared from the publicly available internet, other than some of her deleted tweets, which were archived on the Way Back Machine.

She did leave a Google Drive document online before going dark.

Parker’s Research

Much of Parker’s Google Drive document centers around her allegations that dishonest academics stole her pioneering research on “accelerationism”—a concept embraced by a variety of ideologies that all seek to collapse Western society.

Parker’s work included a deep analysis of one accelerationist network in particular: the Satanic cult Order of the Nine Angles, or O9A.

O9A is reportedly led by a neo-Nazi militant from Operation Gladio, a Cold War-era CIA program that sponsored neo-Nazi stay-behind militias in Europe—ostensibly to prepare for a possible Soviet Union invasion, though the militias wound up terrorizing local citizens instead.

More recently, O9A fomented several neo-Nazi terrorist plots, an O9A-linked neo-Nazi participated in the 2017 Charlottesville Unite the Right rally, and one of the network’s leaders, Joshua Caleb Sutter, was revealed to be a longtime FBI informant.

According to Parker’s research, O9A seeks to tear the fabric of U.S. society through terrorism and psychological warfare.

“The strategic intent of O9A is to symbolically destroy the Holy Roman Empire, represented by the United States, and replace it with an antimodern civilization in the New Middle Ages,” Parker said in her Google Drive document.

The Google Drive document only references Jan. 6 in passing, and doesn’t mention the pipe bombs.

Parker does seem to think that accelerationists exploited the Jan. 6 crowd. She discussed this on her July 2021 appearance on the popular national security podcast, The Team House.

On that show, she said she had been trying to warn the U.S. intelligence community for years about the accelerationist threat, but no one listened to her.

After the events of Jan. 6, some researchers began paying attention to accelerationism, she said. However, they were mistaken to declare Capitol Hill protestors to be an accelerationist threat, she said.

The more likely scenario is that the Jan. 6 crowd was exploited by accelerationists to further divide the country, according to Parker.

“When you have people on January 6 who say, ‘This is an insurrection.’ Well first of all, that’s not really the insurrection. That is a provocation to get people to believe—and the people on the ground, too—to believe they’re part of a revolution. But also, more importantly than that, to get everyone else to believe there’s an impending civil war,” she said.

“And that is the myth they’re trying to perpetuate—going into these communities, trying to stir up people to believe there’s going to be an impending civil war,” she added.

“Because if you get the myth, you can mobilize people.”

Long article….

Part 2 of 3

Parker could not be reached for comment, her colleagues didn’t respond to emails, and the FBI has refused to answer questions about its investigation.

The counterterrorism analyst’s purported discovery and subsequent disappearance deepen the mystery of a case that remains unsolved nearly three years after the fact.

Pipe Bomb Mystery

An issue ignored by mainstream media, conservative outlets such as Revolver Newshave shown the improbability that the explosive devices could have been sitting outside the DNC and RNC headquarters for some 17 hours.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., is among those who’ve called it “odd” that the Secret Serviceagents and their bomb-sniffing dogs didn’t detect the devices when sweeping the DNC area ahead of a visit by Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.

And according to FBI whistleblower Kyle Seraphin, the bureau might be suppressing information about the pipe bomb suspect’s identity.

Seraphin, who worked on the Jan. 6 investigation before being suspended from the FBI in April 2022, told the Washington Timesearlier this year that investigators linked the suspect to a D.C. MetroRail SmarTrip card. The card indicated the individual got off at a Northern Virginia stop after planting both devices on Jan. 5.

“So they tagged the entrance time and the exit time to that card to that guy. And then they found out who bought the card. And the guy who bought the card was not the guy who was using it,” Seraphin told the Washington Times.

“The card had never been used before. It was bought a year prior by a retired chief master sergeant in the Air Force, and he was a security contractor. So, he held a security clearance,” he reportedly said.

Seraphin reportedly added that the FBI used security camera footage from the Northern Virginia Metro stop to identify the license plate of a car that the individual entered.

Still, the FBI has not publicly identified the subject.

Additionally, Seraphin has alleged that the J6 pipe bombs were built with inert material and were incapable of detonating.

On the No Way, Jose podcast in May, Seraphin explained the implications of his disclosures.

“Here’s why that’s interesting: The feds are never going to give you a real bomb. If they’re going to set you up with something, it’s not going to be real. It’s going to be to set you up,” he said.

“And there’s no reason why we should not have run this person into the ground and found out who it was. And that person should have been charged. The only reasonable thing I can think of is:

Somebody doesn’t want that person to be found, and the most likely reason is that person is or was a federal source for some agency at some point,” he said….

Part 3 of 3

Steven D’Antuono, the former assistant director in charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office during Jan. 6, has pushed back against Seraphin’s allegations.

“I’m not going to discount Kyle’s view. That’s his view from wherever he sits and the people he talked to. I don’t know who he talked to,” D’Antuono said in a June interview with the House Judiciary Committee.

“All I know is that we, at the Washington field office, received a report from the lab division, which are the bomb experts—I don’t know what Kyle’s expertise in bomb making is—that they were viable devices.”

But D’Antuono also disclosed that some of the cell phone evidence from the FBI’s pipe bomb investigation was “corrupted.”

The retired agent said the FBI conducted geofencing—when investigators track all the cell phones that were in a given area—but received “corrupted data” from one of the cell phone providers.

“We have complete data. Not complete, because there’s some data that was corrupted by one of the providers—not purposely by them, right,” D’Antuono said, stammering through the interview.

“It’s just unusual circumstances that we have corrupt data from one of the providers. I can’t remember right now which one. But for that day, which is awful because we don’t have that information to search.”

The former FBI official, who headed the dubious 2020 Whitmer kidnap investigation in Michigan before being transferred to DC weeks ahead of Jan. 6, added: “I don’t want any conspiracy theories.”

Despite the numerous apparent anomalies of the FBI’s pipe bomb investigation, officials have refused to respond to congressional inquiries over the matter.

FBI Director Chris Wray refused to answer pipe bomb questions posed by Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., during a July Judiciary Committee hearing. Massie accused Wray of stonewalling the public.

“It was 900 days ago when this happened, and you said you had total confidence that you’d apprehend the subject,” Massie said in July. “It’s 900 days. You need to tell us what you found.”

Where is Parker?

“Parker could not be reached for comment, her colleagues didn’t respond to emails, and the FBI has refused to answer questions about its investigation.

The counterterrorism analyst’s purported discovery and subsequent disappearance deepen the mystery of a case that remains unsolved nearly three years after the fact.
