They really have gone over the edge. There will be another big narrative shift again during the next week. They won't be talking about illegal alien families being separated or abolishing ICE anymore. They are planning demonstrations and riots to prevent POTUS' appointment of a new SC judge.

POTUS is trolling them hard on Twitter with this.

Is there any significance to him saying '…on the first Monday after the July 4th holiday? Why not just say ',,,on July 9th?'

The nation has about 320 million people. Each of these 'news' programmers get anywhere from a few hundred thousand to a couple million viewers daily. Fox News has the most, with about 1.7 million viewers. CNN has the least, with several hundred thousand viewers a day, max. All of them put together barely crack 5 million viewers. That is less than 2% of the population.

The fake news channels are no longer relevant in American culture. People know they lie, and that's why so few watch them anymore. If you watch CNN you might think that exactly the opposite of this is true, but these channels continue to exist only because they are bundled with cable packages that force unwary consumers to pay for them. If you have cable TV, its YOUR monthly payment thats keeping snakes like Rachel Maddow and Anderson Cooper on the air.
