The national average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas on Thursday is $3.646, below Wednesday's price of $3.663. The price was $3.768 a week ago, according to AAA.

The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Maryland is $3.399, below Wednesday's price of $3.414. One week ago, the price was $3.483.
Virginia
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Virginia is $3.431, below Wednesday's price of $3.442. Last week, the price was $3.500.
Washington, D.C.
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Washington, D.C., is $3.752, below Wednesday's price of $3.768. The price one week ago was $3.845.
