For some reason this Disney character came to mind this morning.

Jafar (Aladdin)

A reference in the wikipedia entry lead me to this:

Disney Villain Jafar Is Based on a Prominent Historical Figure Who Contributed Greatly to Science

A couple of quotes: "In the 90s Aladdin cartoon, Jafar, who’s based on a real person, was a Disney villain but in the coming movie, his character will be known more for his real scientific interests than his sex appeal."SEX APPEAL?!

"Throughout the past portrayals in Western media propaganda, they always stereotyped the Muslim character as a villain who solved murder mysteries under the threat of execution, a sorcerer and seducing innocent women."

Ephesians 6 gives us to understand that our warfare is with principalities and powers, world rulers of this present darkness. I think the above references call out aspects of what we are dealing with in spiritual battle: seduction, "science", and sorcery among other evils.

There was a teacher in my state who was found to have an "OnlyFans" to "supplement" her income. She eventually resigned her teaching job. However, the notoriety from being discovered got her more attention on OnlyFans. I think her income from OnlyFans was 2.5 times her teaching salary. She could quit teaching pretty easily at that point. What did the students learn, I wonder?
