It's not that I don't care about suffering people, but some news stories are getting so propagandized that I realize from this distance I don't have enough verifiable facts to understand all the complexities. So, I spend most of my efforts on prayer and doing things to keep my own home secure. Perhaps that is part of what we should be learning at the moment? Remember Tucker Carlson saying something about focussing on taking care of his own family before doing other things of a charitable nature?
