The Biden administration is offering federal assistance to certain states for the closure of low-producing oil and gas wells. Funding comes from the Inflation Reduction Act’s $350 million program called the Mitigating Emissions from Marginal Conventional Wells. The grant opened up in August, as announced by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. Lieutenant Olivarez: “This type of intimidation tactic is commonly used to disrupt law enforcement operations. In the progressive town where I grew up, many Jewish families instinctively placed BLM signs on their lawns. I am pleased to learn that many of these signs are coming down now that BLM has been exposed as an organization antisemitic to its core.
