I'm going to state flatly (aha) that the Earth isn't flat - the level of deception necessary would be beyond even [their] capabilities (every long-haul pilot would have to be in on the scam to begin with). Presumably, the flat-earth symbolism in ancient texts/modern fiction is an attempt to explain multi-dimensional truths to ice-age cave-niggers, who considered worked metal to be sorcery, using 3D imagery. But I'm always willing to be proven wrong, and even more eager to learn the truth.

Anyone have suggestions for where to look? Please note that "hurr durr look up 50 flattard truths and be amazed" need not apply.

Well, it presumably doesn't matter - simulation or not, the night sky exists, and can be verified to fit a spherical Earth by amateur astronomers and mathematicians. And there are people who travel around the globe, by plane and by boat, as a matter of course; they can't ALL be insiders, delusional, ayys, or works of fiction.

It seems like it would be easier to simulate a real globe than to constantly manipulate everyone's perceptions.
