Once upon a time, a man saw a rat try to scurry across the room.

Immediately, the man jumped up, caught the rat and saw that it was frothing at the mouth and its body disease-ridden.

The man, knowing it was Good to destroy corruption where it may be, killed the rat before the rat could potentially bite him or those that he loved.

He went to bed, believing all was well, only to be woken up by hundreds of rats all gnawing at him.

What he did not know was that the diseased rat was running to a nest of equally diseased rats. If the man had followed the rat to where it was headed, he would have found the nest before he was devoured.
