Consecration of Poland to Christ the King
Immortal King of ages, Lord Jesus Christ, our God and our Saviour! In this jubilee year of the 1050th anniversary of the Christianization of Poland, in this year of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, we, the Polish nation, come before Thee [with our spiritual and temporal authorities], to recognize Thy Reign, submit ourselves to Thy Rule, and entrust and consecrate our homeland and our entire nation to Thee.
We confess before heaven and earth that we need thy Reign. We confess that Thou alone dost possess holy and inextinguishable rights over us. For this reason, our heads bowed in humility before Thee, King of the Universe, we recognize Thy Reign over Poland and over all of our nation, at home and abroad.
Desiring to praise the majesty of Thy power and glory, with great faith and love we cry out: Jesus Christ, reign over us!
In our hearts – Jesus Christ, reign over us!
In our families – Jesus Christ, reign over us!
In our parishes – Jesus Christ, reign over us!
In our schools and universities – Jesus Christ, reign over us!
In our means of social communication – Jesus Christ, reign over us!
In our governments, in our workplaces, in our places of duty and leisure – Jesus Christ, reign over us!
In our cities and in our countryside – Jesus Christ, reign over us!
In the whole nation and Polish State – Jesus Christ, reign over us!
We bless Thee and give Thee thanks, Lord Jesus Christ.
For the unfathomable love of Thy Sacred Heart – Christ our King, we give Thee thanks!
For the grace of baptism and the covenant with our people across the centuries – Christ our King, we give Thee thanks!
For the maternal and royal presence of Mary in our history – Christ our King, we give Thee thanks!
For Thy fidelity despite our betrayals and our weaknesses – Christ our King, we give Thee thanks!
Conscious of our faults and the injuries we have inflicted on Thy Heart, we ask pardon for all our sins, especially our sins of turning away from the holy Faith and of failing in love for Thee and for our neighbour. We ask Thee to forgive the social sins of our nation, all our faults, our addictions, our enslavement to evil. We renounce the devil and all his works.
We submit ourselves humbly to Thy mastery and to Thy rule. We promise to order our personal, family, and public lives in accordance with Thy law.
We promise to defend Thy holy religion and preach Thy royal glory – Christ our King, we promise!
We promise to do Thy will and to guard the integrity of our consciences – Christ our King, we promise!
We promise to protect the holiness of our families and the Christian education of our children – Christ our King, we promise!
We promise to build Thy Kingdom and defend it in our nation – Christ our King, we promise!
Thou, sole sovereign of States, of nations and of all creation, the King of kings and the Lord of Lords, we confide to Thee the Polish state and the Polish leaders. Let all who exercise power do so with justice and govern with rectitude in accordance with Thy law.
Christ our King, with confidence we entrust to Thy mercy all Poland and especially those persons who do not obey Thy law. Grant them Thy grace, enlighten them by the power of the Holy Ghost and lead us all to eternal communion with the Father.
In the name of brotherly love, we entrust to Thee all the nations of the world, especially those who brought the Cross to Poland. Bring them to recognize Thee as their legitimate Lord and King and let them use the time given them by the Father to subject themselves voluntarily to Thy rule.
Lord Jesus Christ, King of our hearts, make our hearts like unto Thy Sacred Heart. Let thy Holy Ghost come to renew the face of the earth, this earth. May He sustain us so that we may fulfill the obligations set forth in this national act of enthronement, protect us from evil and carry out our sanctification.
In the Immaculate Heart of Mary we place our decisions and our promises. We confide ourselves entirely to the maternal care of the Queen of Poland and the intercession of the patron saints of our native land.
Christ, reign over us! Reign over our native land, and reign over all nations for the greater glory of the Most Blessed Trinity and the salvation of the human race. Make our homeland and the whole world Thy Kingdom: a kingdom of truth and life, a kingdom of holiness and grace, a kingdom of justice, love and peace.

Here, Poland, on the occasion of the 1050th anniversary of its Christianization, has officially accepted the Kingship of Jesus Christ.
Glory be to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy Ghost: As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
