Heinz Essentially created advertising or mainstream thought control(in my own words)
During the 1800’s, most commodities were manufactured, sold to wholesalers, and distributed to customers by way of barrels, crates and sacks. If you went to the store to buy ketchup and flour, they would have come in plain unbranded jars or bags. Heinz, however, had a different idea, and was one of the first to introduce the world to marketing. He began to create a brand by placing his logo on EVERYTHING!
Some say any type of publicity is good, regardless if it's good or bad… Did Heinz pave the way for branding and big business?
