I know a lot about the field…and did academic work in the area…

The cypherpunks are legit…certainly lots of white, grey, and black hats among them.

Open to where it could go and who's behind it, but Bitcoin is like fire or the wheel when you take the time to understand what's been accomplished.

Think cuneiform as a single entry bookkeeping for horiculture and the beginning of trade. the double entry @1000AD which led to the italian banks, the enlightenment, etc. etc…each of these innovations around tracking historical facts and maintaining consensus corrleated…even ignited the release of innovation and value and discovery. now, decentralized, immutable triple-entry bookkeeping. oh, what dreams may come…>>1977125

Assange.

That source claims that Satoshi was 14 when he started with the cypherpunks…so was Assange…

Craig is about the same age…still a legit possibility, but I'm thinking maybe he is a decoy.

I'm more of a metacypherpunk…never cool enough to have actually been one.

I prefer the groucho marx attitude of not wanting to be apart of any club that would have ME as a member. It's served me VERY well in avoiding some true skulduggery.
