Think about this.

 

When they say that things like property values have gone up, what does that REALLY mean?

 

It means that it take more of the paper money to buy the same exact thing. It's called inflation. It's not worth more, it just takes more paper to buy the same thing. They have got us thinking it's value has gone up. Not true, the value is essentially the same, except the purchasing power of the paper went down.

 

When this country decided to mint it's own money, they set a certain value for it. That is one of the reasons the prices didn't fluctuate very much. Silver is silver. Now they seem to have us believing that the inflation they cause, is somehow imparting more value when the exact opposite is true. We pay more for less now because they manipulate the purchasing power of the paper.
