Maybe “every dog has its day” means that No Name will get a chance to do the right thing and have a taste of glory on his way out, and avoid some of the revelations about his actions that would devastate his family, if all were to be revealed. There are plenty of still-active criminals to deal with and No Name’s worst actions might end up in the 60% category of information kept hidden to save the sensibilities of our country and youth from witnessing more horrors than necessary.

This great awakening is ultimately not about revenge, but justice, renewal, and draining of the swamp. When you flush, who cares where each turd goes.
