as far as I understood, 8chan is protected by cloudflare. Not sure if it is even possible to use direct IPs (or if they would change)

When my provider doesn't resolve names, I use any other from lists like these, and put them into the DNS settings in my Operationg system's network setup:

(list not exhaustive, just example and not checked, as I didn't need any for a time now)
