I was analyzing CDC mortality stats.
Got confused by some of the Wayback screenshots and the way some of this info is archived on there.
Followed the changes in deaths far back to realize that this breaks all their rules.
Even if manual coding and a massive amount of pile up in workโฆ.. changing the numbers of deaths almost 2 years ago is ridiculous.
There is the possibility of learning new info and needing to change the cause of death and they have guidelines to report quickly to the state and registrar.
In these instances, not sure what these people are learning about cases 2 years ago to change the cause of death today.
