Lewiston teen on house arrest from shooting allegedly found with loaded handgun, drum magazine during traffic stop
The Lewiston Police Department says a 17-year-old was taken to Long Creek Youth Development Center after a traffic stop early Wednesday morning. Police say the unlicensed teen was in possession of a loaded firearm and several loaded magazines, including a high-capacity drum magazine. The Lewiston Police Department says the 17-year-old was supposed to be on house arrest from a shooting several months ago.

This morning, just after midnight, LPD Morning Watch officers stopped a vehicle for several traffic violations. The 17 yo unlicensed operator was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm with numerous loaded magazines, including a high capacity drum magazine. The juvenile, who was supposed to be on house arrest stemming from a shooting several months ago, was transported to Long Creek Youth Development Center.
