In the land of the mouse, where tales are told
Of Gaslighting Mickey, with a heart of gold
He'd spin his tales, with a twinkle in his eye
But little did he know, he'd soon say goodbye
He met a crouton, in the oven matinee
A snack so fine, with a flavor so free
But little did he know, she'd cause his downfall
For she was the one, who'd make him stumble and fall
She'd whisper sweet nothings, in his ear
"You're the best, you're the greatest, my dear"
But little did he know, she'd play him like a fool
And leave him in the cold, with a heart so cruel
He'd chase after her, with all his might
But she'd always be, just out of sight
He'd search high and low, through the streets of the town
But she'd always be, just wearing a frown
He'd try and try, to win her heart
But she'd always play, a cruel part
He'd give her all, of his love and his might
But she'd always take, with a wicked delight
So now Gaslighting Mickey, stands alone
His heart broken, his spirit gone
He's lost the love, of his life's delight
And all he's left with, is the cold, dark night
But still he dreams, of a brighter day
When he'll find his love, in a different way
And he'll chase after her, with all his might
And bring her back, to the light of his sight
