Ralph Ellis claims the exodus story comes from two exoduses. First the Hyksos people and then later, when Akhenaten and his followers (or maybe just followers) also went on an exodus.
His theories are very interesting. He claims all 1st temple period really happened in Egypt, just told under different names and different locations. He has tons of strong arguments. Rather interdasting. Lots of stuff on youtube.

Ralph Ellis is mostly in later times, connecting Bible stories to Egypt. Very chilled and easy going writer, but deep knowledge and somewhat strong arguements.
