The way I see it.

God gave the Promised Land to the Israelites in the O.T. because Jesus would be born there to fulfill the prophesies.

Now that Jesus, the Messiah, has been born there, they have no rights to that land.

But the Jews don't believe that Jesus is the Promised Messiah, so they think that they still have the right to the land.

They somehow think that the Bible is a contract that the rest of the World has to follow.

They think that their religion gives them the right to occupy a land area.

I would think that any group of people could start a religion and say, hey, our religion tells us that we have a right to this land, so you need to hand it over to us.

God Promised a Messiah.

God kept His Promise.

The Israelites were just of means and a method of God's Promise being fulfilled.

Jesus came in the Fullness of Time.

God chose Abraham to be the lineage of the Promised Messiah.

What the Israelites did or didn't do, wasn't going to change anything.

The Israelites disobeyed God constantly, but God still kept his promise of sending Jesus, the Promised Messiah, thru the lineage of Abraham.
