>>1981104 Just out of curiosity, have you guys ever considered....I don't know.....getting good politicians into both parties? Keep a finger in each pie, that sort of thing?

Kind of like....you know....the way the deepstate cabal did?

I suspect this is the reason those founding fathers everyone claims to love so much didn't even want political parties. I think they had the right idea, myself. No parties to hide behind, everyone has to stand on their own merits.

Many of you have no idea what is going to happen when the Democratic party has the swamp drained out of it. I'll tell you exactly what is going to happen: It's going to move back towards the center, just like the Republican party is going to when it's swampy aspects are drained. And if it doesn't, if it just goes right back on with it's Bush era policies, it is simply going to lose elections. It won't lose in 2018, but you MUST realize that if it gains majorities in the House and Senate, all eyes will be on the Republicans, and real, tangible results and improvements to individual Americans' lives (and that includes the blue collar working class and the working poor, which are much bigger demographics that most of you realize) WILL BE EXPECTED, otherwise 2020 and beyond won't look so good. Personally, I rather like Trump, so I would like to see him in win in 2020, but don't fall into the trap of just assuming this will be a cakewalk, because remember:

ONCE THE SWAMPED IS DRAINED, THERE WILL BE NO MORE EXCUSES.
