Thorn Of Justice

Dear Attorney,

I pray you are doing well and your family doing well and may the Lord bless you with blessings upon blessings. I am thinking about changing the name of my novel from "Justice Denied" to "Thorn Of Justice" and making the main character to a female former MC NCO who was sexually abused, victimized by MK Ultra operators in the MC and then kicked out of the MC with OTH and then declared mentally ill in order to discredit anything she had to say about the psychological abuses she endured.

After discharge she found herself in a world completely brainwashed to believe that conspiracies against the mentally ill were impossible. She realized after much agony that nobody was going to ever confirm that a conspiracy was not afoot before forcing antipsychotic pharmaceuticals on her. She had to keep everything under wraps and endure. Imagine the psychological damage.

Then came the era of camera cell phones and she began to record the abuses and post them on YouTube. She was arrested and abused by a corrupt police chief (who is controlled by the FBI) and hired an attorney who abruptly asked to be recused. But kept her money. She began to look for another with no avail. All of the attorneys though assured her that no judge would allow an attorney to quit right in the middle of a case but the judge did allow without hesitation even allowing the attorney to keep her money. Out of nowhere a neighbor of hers said she knew a civil rights attorney that would help her and that she need not worry about the money because she would cover all costs. (which she never did) Rose accepted.

But this civil rights attorney did nothing that he said he would do and even though Rose insisted for her speedy trail and the new attorney understood very well that Rose did not want any continuances and did want him to file a motion to dismiss, the new attorney broke all promises and allowed the case to go on for over two years and charging her double the fee agreed upon. The case ended up being dismissed without prejudice because of a motion by the prosecutor. Rose then decided to try to find an attorney to sue the chief of police but the search was futile. Then she heard that the state BAR had a refferal program and decided to try. But only one attorney kept showing up on her search. Strange as it was She had no choices. So she took a chance and went for it. The new attorney, as the older one made promises to keep her in the loop, answer emails and even made it seem like he would talk to her for hours about the case as he would be working on contingency and the more they talked the more they would be paid after trial. But soon after hiring the new attorney and signing the contract he stated that he was very busy and had little time for her case. She asked him to explain the process and what to expect as she never sued anyone before but he refused. She asked him for copies of the answers and replies and discovery from the defendant and though he promised, he, as the others, never delivered. She became convinced that a narrative was being spun. A narrative of her being crazy and unable to get along with ANY attorney. So no matter how great the abuse and neglect, she had to just take it and not give them any ammunition for this sick, sinister narrative. But she began to despair. How much of this could the human mind endure? But endure she would. There is much more to the story including how the corrupt government was able to blackmail these attorneys into doing these dirty deeds and other such details but let me not bore you with it for now and just get to the point.

I know I have seen disclaimers on books and films that say "this story is fictitious and similarities to real life are purely coincidental" and was just wondering if you think I aught to add that disclaimer to my novel once complete in order to avoid being sued by an attorney for slander or defamation of character? Thank you.
