very true, but it went further than that. since the constitution only gave the federal gov't specific powers with the rest granted to the states, many founders didn't see the need for any of the bill of rights. others realized the potential that govt's tend to have to grow and expand and were concerned that since citizens didn't have specific rights enumerated, the gov't could overreach.
the both sides compromised and came up with the original 10.
i believe some are comped, but i believe also that many are in the same cult. TDS is a mental disease.
