I'm not who you're arguing with, but the Talmud is the textual record of generations of rabbinic debate, not law.
It's called the Oral Law, but it is not law. It's tradition. The Talmud is literally legal commentary on the Torah, explaining how its commandments are to be carried out. It's not actual law.
Just like the nonsense catholics do is not actual law or command of God.
You mean Truth doesn't work? I'm not arguing for the talmud, just the truth that it's not law. It's debate about how they should apply the law.
I'm simply telling you the truth. The Talmud is not law, it's their opinions on how the law in the torah should be followed. You apparently want to put their opinions on the same level as the Torah.
So why did you respond if that's your belief?
Catholic tradition does not come from scripture.
