Former Acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal Says He Expects Trump to be Jailed for Violating Gag Order

Katyal made his alarming prediction during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Inside” on Sunday.

Under the gag order in the federal “election interference” case, which was put back in place on Sunday, Judge Chutkan prohibits Trump from making statements about “potential witnesses” or “disparaging comments” about the prosecutors and court staff.

Trump is also under a gag order in New York for his civil fraud case, which he has been fined $10,000 for violating.

Discussing the matter, Katyal said, “There are two different gag orders. One, Trump has already violated, the one in New York state, in which he has been now fined twice. And then there’s a swarm that you’re talking about the federal level with Jack Smith. And that one has been put on pause.”

Another Political Assassination Attempt – Pro-Russia Politician Oleg Tsaryov Is Shot Twice in Crimea

It is a difficult moment for Ukraine in the war: the counteroffensive has petered out, Russian forces have started successful offensives in Avdiivka, Kupyansk and other places, foreign aid is starting to dry up with the emergence of the conflict in the Middle East.

At this crucial moment of the struggle, Kiev regime resorts to their old expedient: political assassinations.

It is common knowledge that Ukrainians maintain a website called Myrotvorets (‘Peacemaker’), a vast ‘unofficial’ (but sanctioned) database of people considered to be enemies of the country.

To be listed there as a ‘traitor to the motherland’ is to be marked for potential assassination.

That was the case of former Ukrainian lawmaker Oleg Tsaryov, a pro-Russian figure reportedly tasked to lead Kyiv after Russia’s invasion.

Tsaryov was shot and wounded in a late-night attack, family and officials said on Friday.

Reuters reported:

“Russia’s top investigative body said it had opened a criminal inquiry into the attempt on his life, which follows the assassinations of several other prominent pro-Moscow figures since the start of the war.

A source in the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) intelligence agency said the shooting was a special operation conducted by the agency. The source gave few details of the operation but described Tsaryov as an ‘absolutely legal target’.”

The attack on Tsaryov took place in Crimea’s Yalta.

“‘Around midnight he was shot twice on the premises of the sanatorium where he lives’, said a post on Tsaryov’s Telegram account, citing the family. ‘When the ambulance arrived, Oleg was unconscious and had lost a lot of blood’.”

AG Platkin: Paterson City Council President Facing New Charges in Election Fraud Case After New Details of Conspiracy and Alleged Witness Tampering Are Uncovered

TRENTON — Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin announced today that the Paterson City Council President, Alex Mendez, has been brought up on new charges in connection with an election-fraud case, after investigators determined the defendant personally collected ballots and oversaw the fraudulent mailing of ballots, while members of his campaign stole ballots from residential mailboxes and discarded several that did not cast a vote for their candidate. It is also alleged that defendants tampered with witnesses to avoid prosecution.

Mendez, 48, of Paterson, New Jersey, who was first indicted on election fraud charges in 2021, is facing additional charges along with several alleged co-conspirators: his wife, Yohanny Mendez, 48, as well as Omar Ledesma, 35, and Iris Rigo, 38, all Paterson residents. The charges are the result of an investigation by the Attorney General’s Office of Public Integrity and Accountability (OPIA).

“The defendants are accused of attempting to rig an election in their favor and to deprive the voters of Paterson of having their voices heard,” said Attorney General Platkin. “The functioning of democracy relies on voters’ trust that their votes count and those votes determine the outcomes of elections.”

“We allege that Mendez and his associates unlawfully collected ballots and tampered with ballots to give him an unfair edge in the race for the 3rd Ward seat on the Paterson City Council,” said Thomas Eicher, the Executive Director of the Office of Public Integrity and Accountability. “He then allegedly set about undermining our investigation into his and his campaign workers’ unlawful activities. I’m grateful for the many additional months of work the investigative team invested in pursuing evidence of potential witness tampering. Their efforts uncovered more illegal conduct by these defendants, culminating in these new charges.”

The initial OPIA investigation began when the U.S. Postal Inspection Service alerted the Attorney General’s Office that hundreds of mail-in ballots for the May 2020 Paterson municipal election were found in a mailbox in the neighboring municipality of Haledon. Hundreds of mail-in ballots were also found in a mailbox in Paterson, at a time when all voting was being conducted via vote-by-mail because of COVID-19 safety precautions.

It is alleged that prior to the May 2020 election, while he was a candidate seeking to represent the 3rd Ward, Mendez personally collected a number of mail-in ballots from households in that section of Paterson, in violation of the Vote-By-Mail Law. Mendez and his associates allegedly collected many ballots in the 3rd Ward over several days.

New Jersey allows a voter to give a completed ballot to a “bearer,” who must complete the bearer certification on the ballot envelope before returning the ballot on behalf of the voter to the county board of elections. Under state law, a candidate in an election is never permitted to serve as a ballot bearer on behalf of other voters in the district in which he is a candidate.

Kremlin Claims Ukraine ‘Interference’ Responsible for Jew Hunting Muslim Mob at Dagestan Airport

The Kremlin and Russian state media have attempted to shift the blame onto Ukraine and other foreign “interference” for the shocking scenes witnessed in Dagestan on Sunday when an angry mob of Muslims waving Palestinian flags stormed an airport to search for “Jewish refugees” following rumours online of a plane arriving from Israel.

In deeply embarrassing events for Moscow which unfolded at the Makhachkala airport in the Russian-controlled republic of Dagestan on Sunday evening, hoards of mostly young men chanting “Allahu Akbar” ransacked the airport in a desperate search to prevent Jewish people from entering the country. Not only did the mob clash with Russian riot police and damage the infrastructure of the building, but also broke onto the tarmac and went plane by plane demanding passengers present their passports to prove they were not from Israel.

Moscow has sought to lay the blame on Ukraine, with Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said according to Russian state-owned press agency RIA Novosti: “It is well known and obvious that yesterday’s event around the Makhachkala airport is largely the result of outside interference, including information influence from outside.”

State-owned media outlet RT went on to claim that the Muslim mob was provoked by “online rumours” spread by Ukraine. A report from the Russian government broadcaster claimed that a Telegram channel “Dagestan Morning”, was instrumental in organising the action at the airport while alleging that the channel was tied to Kyiv.

The “Dagestan Morning” channel does appear to have been coordinating the mob to some degree, giving lengthy instructions to those storming the airport as well as supposed flight details for a plane from Israel. One message read: “LET’S NOT ALLOW PALESTINE TO HAPPEN IN DAGESTAN!!! Turn around the ship with ‘refugees’ right now! At 19:00!!!”

“We call on all brothers in their republics to track arrivals from Israel and greet them as hospitably as we do!!! The descendants of the monkeys thought that they could get away with anything – not this time!!! You scum will chew and swallow your passports all over the world!!! In sha Allah!!” another message said.

Hunter Biden got $250k loan from Chinese exec during 2020 election, later his lawyer assumed debt

One of Hunter Biden's lawyers, Kevin Morris, assumed the obligations for a $250,000 loan when he acquired the younger Biden's stake in Bohai Harvest RST.

Hunter Biden received a $250,000 loan from a Chinese businessman just three months after his father launched his 2020 presidential campaign, and he later transferred the debt to a Hollywood lawyer he befriended, according to evidence gathered by federal and congressional investigators.

The House Oversight Committee first disclosed a few weeks ago that Hunter Biden had gotten a $250,000 wire in July 2019 and used his father’s address in Delaware for the transfer. It was one of the later known foreign payments that Hunter Biden received before he fell on hard times.

Documents gathered by federal law enforcement and reviewed by Just the News show Hunter Biden considered the wire to be a July 25, 2019 "loan" from Xiangsheng “Jonathan” Li, a Chinese businessman whom he had been doing business with for over a decade when they created an investment fund under the name Bohai Harvest RST (BHR).

After Joe Biden became president, the records show, Hunter Biden transferred the debt to Kevin Morris, a Hollywood lawyer whom he befriended after they met at a November 2019 Joe Biden campaign fundraiser in Los Angeles.

The debt was "assumed" by Morris on Nov. 17, 2021 when the lawyer acquired Hunter Biden's stake in the BHR partnership and a separate company called Skaneateles, LLC, according to one record reviewed by Just the News. Hunter Biden "is no longer the primary obligor" as a result of the transaction with Morris, that memo stated.

Morris' assumption of the debt obligation is only part of millions of dollars in assistance the lawyer, a Democrat donor, has given Hunter Biden since the two met.

The relationship is now under investigation by Congress. Most of Morris' assistance is in the form of loans, according to a source close to Hunter Biden. Morris has also been a member of Hunter Biden's legal team from time to time.

“It sure seems that the Bidens get a lot of loans that raise many questions," House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer told Just the News. "Hunter Biden’s defense team was quick to say that the $250,000 wire he received from a Chinese national that listed Joe Biden’s home as the beneficiary address was a loan.

"However, Hunter Biden’s defense team fails to mention that Kevin Morris quietly assumed that loan for Hunter Biden,” Comer added. “Why is Kevin Morris, who is a lawyer and Democrat donor, taking on Hunter Biden’s China debt? This raises serious ethical questions that the White House must answer."

Russian Air Defense Downs 8 Ukraine's Storm Shadow Missiles Over Crimea - MoD

Earlier, Kiev used Storm Shadow missiles, supplied to Ukraine from the United Kingdom, to attack the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea fleet in Sevastopol.

Ukraine has been sending drones and missiles into Russian territory almost daily since it launched a counteroffensive in early June. The United Nations said in August, after a botched drone strike on Moscow, that it did not want to see civilian infrastructure targeted.

The FDA is warning parents to test their children after lead is found in WanaBana fruit puree pouches

The US Food and Drug Administration is warning parents against buying a brand of fruit puree pouches for their children after the snacks were found to have high levels of lead, the agency said.

Lead was found in WanaBana apple cinnamon fruit puree pouches, which are sold nationally at multiple retailers, including Sam’s Club, Amazon and Dollar Tree, the FDA said.

“Parents and caregivers of toddlers and young children who may have consumed WanaBana apple cinnamon fruit puree pouches should contact their child’s healthcare provider about getting a blood test,” the FDA said.

Lead is toxic to humans and exposure to the substance can lead to developmental delays in children. Symptoms of lead exposure include headaches, abdominal pain, vomiting, anemia, muscle aches, irritability and fatigue, the agency said.

The issue came to light when North Carolina state health officials began investigating four children with elevated blood lead levels and found that the WanaBana pouches could be the common source of exposure, the FDA said.
