Meh. QR is better than lamestream crap like CNN, but no single site is crucial. All the 8kun servers could get nuked in ten minutes and that would not stop anons from congregating on other sites. As we used to say on 4chan before 8ch existed, the 4chan site is just a watering hole, and the anons are Mongol horsemen. If one watering hole dries up, there are always others to be found. The key is not the central location where we congregate, the key is that we can swarm and re-combine if we are ever dispersed.
IMHO current BO is not best BO, but my opinion does not matter jack shit. So if I don't like this board, I should gallop off to other watering holes to spend most of my mental effort on posts that would be barred from the notables here.
Being better than me is a pretty low bar. Maybe as low as a Barr playing bagpipes.

I have never left, I'm just "retired on active duty" for the most part. I don't bother trying to self-nominate for notables. Beyond that, my posting behavior hasn't notably changed.
