That was Trump's defense counsel yesterday on cross exam of the Sociology professor.

The only conclusion you can take away is that his testimony amounts to "If DJT says it, it is inciting insurrection, but when other people say worse, it probably isn't" "It requires a pattern and relationship with the violent people"

The Judge saw the destruction defense counsel was accomplishing and abruptly interrupted and called a lunch break. The Professor came back and clearly had been spoken to and was much less accommodating with his answers. Note: it was made clear that no comms with witnesses about their testimony during break was permitted. ( so much for Court rules)
