Bridgeport Election Overturned After City Official Pleads 5th To Ballot Harvesting

A Bridgeport, Connecticut judge ruled on Wednesday to overturn the city's Democratic primary election after video emerged of a woman who appears to be the city's vice chair of the Democratic Town Committee, Wanda Geter-Pataky, committing ballot fraud.

"Mr. Ganim was also correct to be ‘shocked’ at what he saw on the video clips in evidence that were shown to him while he was on the witness stand," wrote Judge Clark, referring to incumbent Mayor Joe Ganim. "The videos are shocking to the court and should be shocking to all the parties."

Ganin was one the many city officials called to the Fairfield Judicial District Superior Courthouse for questioning, along with Wanda Geter-Pataky, vice chair of the Bridgeport Democratic Town Committee and operations specialist for the city, and Eneida Martinez, a former City Council member accused by Gomes of stuffing ballot dropboxes.

At the witness stand, Ganim told the court he was “shocked” by an 18-minute video – subpoenaed by Gomes from Bridgeport police – that appeared to show 12 instances of Geter-Pataky either depositing stacks of ballots herself or handing ballots to others from behind her reception desk, and four instances of Martinez dropping off ballots.

Asked about the footage during the hearings, both Geter-Pataky and Martinez asserted their Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination . Ganim, who appeared to win the primary by 250 votes after a count of absentee ballots, denied any involvement in the alleged fraud. -CT Examiner

Under Connecticut state law, absentee ballots may only be submitted by the applicant, a family member, a police officer, an election official or a caretaker. According to Clark, the footage is direct evidence that state law was violated when "unauthorized partisans" engaged in ballot stuffing.

Special Counsel Jack Smith Attacks Trump After Judge Cannon Blasts DOJ Prosecutors, Signals She May Postpone Classified Docs Trial

Special Counsel Jack Smith attacked Trump after the former president’s attorneys filed a motion for a stay in the January 6 case in DC.

“President Trump respectfully requests that the Court stay all proceedings in this case pending resolution of his Immunity Motion,” Trump’s lawyers wrote in the motion filed Wednesday evening.

Trump’s lawyers filed the motion just hours after Judge Aileen Cannon signaled she would postpone the classified documents case in Southern Florida.

Judge Aileen Cannon last month paused litigation in Jack Smith’s classified documents case as she decides whether to grant Trump’s motion to extend deadlines related to classified material.

Last month Trump attorneys Chris Kise and Todd Blanche accused Jack Smith’s prosecutors of using dilatory tactics to slow-roll the discovery process and taking too long to turn over evidence. Blanche and Kise said the May trial date makes the schedule “unworkable,” according to the motion reviewed by The Gateway Pundit.

Blanche and Kise also said Jack Smith’s Florida classified docs trial set for May 20 and his separate March 4 DC trial regarding Trump’s so-called effort to stop the transfer of power set for March 4 require “Trump and his lawyers to be in two places at once.”

Cannon not only signaled she may postpone Trump’s trial, she also admonished one of Jack Smith’s prosecutors in court on Wednesday.

Jack Smith attacked Trump and alerted Judge Cannon to Trump’s motion for a stay in the DC case.

The Special Counsel is furious that Trump is trying to delay both trials – and using the trial date of the DC case to delay the classified documents case in Florida.

Jack Smith’s plan to try and convict Trump in the middle of a presidential election is crumbling because it isn’t holding up in front of a somewhat fair judge (Cannon).

RFK Jr. Explains Why He Went on Jeffrey Epstein’s Private Jet in 1993

A campaign spokesman has put out a statement in response to reports circulating that independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy once flew on the notorious convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s private airplane.

Newsweek reported Wednesday that RFK Jr.’s name was included “among a number of high-profile people” who the outlet had previously named as former passengers on the aircraft.

The plane has been scornfully referred to as the “Lolita Express” for allegedly being used to transport underage girls to Epstein’s properties.

Newsweek quoted a Kennedy spokesperson as acknowledging that the candidate flew once on Epstein’s plane in 1993 to travel from New York City to Palm Beach, Florida, to visit RFK Jr.’s mother, Ethel Kennedy, for Easter.

The trip was arranged by Kennedy’s then-wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, “who was friendly with Epstein’s partner at the time, Ghislaine Maxwell,” Newsweek reported.

“Mary, Kennedy’s wife, and two of their kids were on the flight,” the representative told the news outlet. “Mary knew Epstein’s girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who learned that they were going to Palm Beach for Easter and offered their family a ride.”

Mary Richardson Kennedy passed away in 2012. Kennedy has since married his current wife, Cheryl Hines.

Another report by Business and Politics Review included social media posts discussing a second trip by RFK Jr. aboard the Epstein jet, also reportedly arranged by Mary Kennedy and Ghislaine Maxwell.

The posts quoted from Whitney Webb’s 2022 book, “One Nation Under Blackmail, Vol. 2,” which said the other trip involved RFK Jr., Mary, and two of the Kennedy children and was an expedition to a fossil hunting site in South Dakota, “which [Kennedy] believed had been Ghislaine’s idea as Epstein had appeared to only have attended ‘grudgingly.'”

“‘On that trip, Kennedy remembered that Epstein ‘did not mingle with us and hardly spoke and did not participate in the fossil hunt.'”

On that trip, according to the book excerpt, “Epstein ‘clearly’ had a problem with Kennedy’s ‘rambunctious children’ and ‘half way back to New York, [Epstein] ordered the pilot to put down at Midway Field in Chicago. He got off the plane and made his own way home. A blonde was waiting for him at planeside in Chicago.

“Kennedy remembered that Ghislaine was ‘in silent tears’ after Epstein’s abrupt departure.”

Israel’s actions in Gaza not ‘self-defense’ – Moscow

The Jewish state doesn’t have such a right as an “occupying power,” Russia’s UN representative Vassily Nebenzia has said

Israel does not have the right to self-defense in Gaza because it is an “occupying power,” Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia said at an emergency special session of the UN General Assembly on Wednesday.

Nebenzia said all the US and its allies can do is “talk about Israel’s supposed right to self-defense.” However, he pointed out that “as an occupying power, it does not have such a right, which was confirmed by the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice in 2004.”

The diplomat went on to accuse the US and its satellites of hypocrisy, stating that in other situations they always call to respect humanitarian law, create special commissions, and impose sanctions on those “who actually use force only as a last resort to stop decades of violence.”

“And today, seeing the horrific destruction in Gaza, many times greater than everything that they angrily criticize in other regional contexts – attacks on civilian targets, including hospitals, the deaths of thousands of children – they seem to have taken water into their mouths,” the permanent representative said.

Nebenzia also stressed that Russia nevertheless recognizes Israel’s right to ensure its own security. He noted, however, that “it can fully be guaranteed only if there is a fair solution to the Palestinian problem,” which should be based on the basis of UN Security Council resolutions.

“We do not deny Israel the right to fight terrorism. But fight terrorists, not civilians,” Nebenzia said.

The Russian government has officially condemned the October 7 Hamas attack, which left some 1,400 Israelis dead and prompted the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to launch retaliatory airstrikes on Gaza. However, Moscow has also accused Israel of indiscriminately killing Palestinian civilians and has called for an immediate ceasefire. More than 9,000 Palestinians are said to have been killed since October 7, according to the latest figures from Gaza health officials.

“I don’t know why I was born, but there is something about the State of Israel that connects deeply to me,” Glenn Beck said on BlazeTV’s Glenn Beck Program, before reading out a letter to his audience declaring his loyalty to Israel and his deep desire to obtain dual citizenship directly from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“To have the privilege to stand with the Jew is a tremendous honor, spiritually. So I want to read a letter that I wrote that I am sending to the State of Israel,” Beck said.

“To Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the honorable officials at the State of Israel,” he read.

“In this moment, I have chosen to ask you for citizenship in the State of Israel. I have nothing to offer but my voice of support and some might say that my support might be more valuable as an independent voice. Perhaps they’re correct. But my request for citizenship is not about words, it is about deeds.”

“Why, one might wonder, would I want to embrace a heritage and identity that is so ruthlessly hunted down again and again? Yet it is precisely during such moments that we must choose to stand.”

“I anticipate no privileges or exemption from the State of Israel,” Beck went on. “I instead yearn to align myself with those willing to rise, to fight, and sacrifice for the fundamental right to live. Is this not what both Israel and America embody?”

“In closing, my desire for dual citizenship does not stem from any expectation of gain but from a deep-rooted belief in standing with what is right and true. Sen. Graham Says ‘No Limit’ on How Many Civilians Israel Can Kill

The Pentagon has placed 'no limits' on the weapons it provided Israel

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said on Tuesday that there should be “no limit” on how many civilian casualties Israel incurs in its bombardment of Gaza.

Graham made the comments while appearing on CNN after Israel bombed the Jabalia refugee camp in north Gaza, killing dozens of people. An Israeli military commander was asked after the strike if Israel was aware the camp was full of innocent civilians and replied, “This is the tragedy of war.”

Graham was asked if there was a threshold where the US might ask Israel to hold off on causing so many civilian casualties. “No. If somebody asked us after World War II, ‘Is there a limit what would you do to make sure that Japan and Germany don’t conquer the world? Is there any limit what Israel should do to the people who are trying to slaughter the Jews? The answer is no. There is no limit,” he said.

Israeli officials have been pointing to the US and allied bombings of Germany and Japan during World War II, which killed hundreds of thousands of civilians, to justify their onslaught in Gaza. The comparison includes the US fire bombings of Japanese cities, which killed around 100,000 civilians in Tokyo in one night in 1945, as well as the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Graham previously said if Israel doesn’t do something similar to Gaza, it would be a mistake. “Gaza is going to look like Tokyo and Berlin at the end of World War II when this is over. And if it doesn’t look that way, Israel made a mistake,” Graham said on Fox News.

The New York Times reported on Monday that Israeli officials conveyed to their US counterparts that “mass civilian casualties” were an acceptable toll of the Gaza campaign, which has been reflected by the massive child death toll, which according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, stands at 3,648. When asked about the child casualty rate on Monday, the Pentagon said there were “no limits” on how Israel can use its US-provided weapons.

Army investigating footage of soldiers hitting and mistreating detainees, amid mounting tensions and rising settler violence

Dozens of pictures and videoclips have emerged over the past week showing IDF soldiers abusing and humiliating Palestinians apprehended in the West Bank, often while they are blindfolded and handcuffed.

In one of the most brutal videos, which has been blurred, IDF soldiers filmed themselves as they abused seven West Bank laborers who were caught as they attempted to enter Israel without a permit, in an area south of the South Hebron hills.

The footage shows the Palestinian men stripped naked or half-naked, blindfolded and handcuffed, and screaming in pain. One of them is being dragged on the ground.

A screenshot from the video shows a soldier stepping with his boot on the head of one of the Palestinians, while another is pointing a weapon at him.

In another scene of violence caught on camera, a soldier kicks a blindfolded Palestinian man in the stomach, then spits on him and insults him in Arabic.

‘Heroin makes you feel nauseous and depresses your respiratory system.

‘Exposure of drugs and polythene bags is charge 2 “danger to life”.’

Two children alleged another child was put in ‘enclosed spaces’ while drugs were consumed, Ms Harper told the jury.

She continued: ‘They saw her being put into various places including cupboards and a microwave.’

Before the alleged emergence of Covid-19, four types of pneumonia grouped together were the highest cause of death in the UK.

But a former Director of End-of-Life Care has confirmed that following the alleged emergence of Covid-19, a new Medical Examiner System to certify deaths was implemented which meant Medical Examiners were certifying ALL types of pneumonia deaths as Covid-19.

This means hospital staff were instructed to lie about the actual cause of death to create the illusion of a deadly pandemic and maintain a state of fear and fake crisis across society.

Sai, a former NHS Director of End-of-Life Care, wrote a Twitter thread which, amongst other things, gave a personal account of the changes to the system of reporting deaths implemented in the NHS:

“When four different diseases [are] grouped and now being called covid-19, you will inevitably see covid-19 with a huge death rate. The mainstream media was reporting on this huge increase in COVID-19 deaths due to the Medical Examiner System being in place.

“Patients being admitted and dying with very common conditions such as old age, myocardial infarctions, end-stage kidney failure, haemorrhages, strokes, COPD and cancer etc. were all now being certified as COVID-19 via the Medical Examiner System.

“Hospitals were switching to and from the Medical Examiner System and the pre-pandemic system as [and] when they pleased. When covid-19 deaths needed to be increased, the hospital would switch to the Medical Examiner System.”

In addition, “hospitals were incentivised to report covid-19 deaths over normal deaths, as the government was paying hospitals additional money for every covid-19 death that was being reported,” Sai said. “I have no doubt in my mind, that the Government has planned the entire pandemic since 2016 when they first proposed the change to medical death certification.”

Putin Signs Law Revoking Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, Citing US Failure To Ratify

President Vladimir Putin on Thursday signed into effect a law which paves the way for potential Russian nuclear testing, which would mark a huge escalation given the context of the Ukraine war and the broader context of a 'new Cold War' standoff between Washington and Moscow.

The new law confirms Russia’s de-ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT), which is the 1996 landmark agreement which sought to ban all nuclear testing and explosions, in order to bring Russia and the United States in line on the issue.

But the two sides were never really in line on the question of the treaty itself, even if nuclear tests weren't happening. Some countries which were integral to the treaty never fully ratified it.

The Kremlin earlier last month said it would take steps to "mirror" the US position, explained as follows:

The law’s text on Russia’s legal portal states that Moscow will no longer be bound by the UN-backed nuclear test ban starting Nov. 2. Both Russia and the United States signed the treaty in 1996, but while Moscow ratified it in 2000, Washington never took the final step of codifying it into law.

Other holdouts to the treaty include China, India, Pakistan, North Korea and Israel, as well as Egypt and Iran…

"The president was primarily referring to the need to bring the de facto situation to a common denominator [with the U.S.]," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in October, and has denied that this means Russia intends to pursue nuclear tests.

However, both Russia and the US have recently conducted "drills" of their nuclear armed strategic forces, but without actually conducting nuclear testing. Such a move would be hugely controversial also domestically, particularly in the US, given environmental and fallout concerns.

Some commentators are seeing in this latest move a fresh "threat" to keep the Western alliance on edge…
