After so very, very many years of government criminals getting away with hand-slaps, ability to immediately retire (with pay!), immunity and judicial complacency, it SO easy for me to wonder:

[1] Is there a process in place to allow citizens to hold judges accountable for ridiculous sentences? If so, does this process allow for sentences made by these judges to be reviewed and re-determined?

[2] Are we going to be seeing too much leniency in those that have resigned already or are some of them going to be legally pursued?

[3] What can we put in place to ensure we (or our descendants) never have to go through this again?
