there was no 1st temple, at least not in jerusalem. the whole 1st temple period happened in egypt.
mixed stories written down post babylon time, changed names of pharaos from egypt to king david, salomon etc.

saw the documentary years ago, don´t remember details. they were following some clues in the bible and came to that conclusion.
