Ran across this earlier today and found it to be a very hard hitting, brutally honest, and objectively fair analysis of the current Israel/Gaza situation within the larger Middle East context by someone with a very clear understanding of the motivations of all players.

No punches pulled. Everybody gets pats and paddlings. Crimes are called crimes, strategies are evaluated and forecasted.

Excellent background tab sitrep by someone long in the arena and now moving up on my people worth listening to radar.
