I sometimes wonder if the real reason they are removing all the statues of patriotic war heroes is because they are done pretending we ever actually won the Revolutionary War.

Sadly, it seems that one should assume “think mirror” applies to this statement, as likely as any others. Despite whatever progress we might see in the background, nefarious groups and entities continue to advance their agendas in full light not even bothering with cover of darnkess any longer. So, it seems the only prudent course of action would be to assume that families are not safe at this point. Hopefully, that doesn’t prove out down the road, but only time will tell.
