Joe Biden Hits Head on Helicopter Door Hours After Falling
Matthew ImpelliJun 02, 2023 at 2:45 Pm
(Now watch PDJT get off a Marine One)
President Joe Biden bumped his head while exiting the Marine One helicopter on Thursday, hours after he fell onstage at the U.S. Air Force Academy's graduation ceremony in Colorado.
In several videos posted to Twitter, Biden can be seen bumping his head on the top of the helicopter's doorframe. The White House press pool report confirmed that the president hit his head but added that he looked "spry" after getting off the helicopter on the South Lawn.
The incident comes less than 12 hours after Biden, 80, fell while onstage at the Air Force Academy's graduation event in Colorado Springs.
"Graduates, you made a noble choice to lead a life of service," Biden said during his speech at Thursday's ceremony. "In the years ahead, your airmen and guardians are going to look to you for guidance and inspiration because the world is going to get more confusing. They'll put their trust in you. You, in turn, must strive to always be worthy of their confidence."

After his speech, Biden started to walk offstage but tripped over a sandbag and fell onto the floor of the stage.
"He's fine. There was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands," White House Communications Director Ben LaBolt said on Twitter following the incident.
After hitting his head on the helicopter door, Biden told reporters, "I got sandbagged," referring to his earlier fall.
Newsweek reached out to the White House press office via email for further comment.
Donald Trump responded to Biden's fall in Colorado while delivering a campaign speech to supporters in Iowa.
"Well, I hope he wasn't hurt…. You got to be careful about that, you gotta be careful about that because you don't want that," the former president said. "Even if you got to tiptoe down a ramp."
Trump's remark referenced an occasion in 2020 when he was seen slowly walking down a ramp after delivering a speech at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who recently announced his run for the presidency, also commented on Biden's fall at the Air Force Academy ceremony.
"I don't know if he sustained injuries, but I just want to say that we hope and wish Joe Biden a swift recovery from any injuries he may have sustained," DeSantis said to supporters in New Hampshire on Thursday. "But we also wish the United States of America a swift recovery from the injuries sustained because of Joe Biden and his policies."

US to be ‘hit hard’ if no ceasefire in Gaza – Iran’s defense chief
Tehran has accused Washington of fueling the conflict in the Middle East
The US will face grave consequences if hostilities in Gaza are not brought to an end, Iran’s defense minister warned on Sunday.
“Our advice to the Americans is to immediately stop the war in Gaza and implement a ceasefire, otherwise they will be hit hard,”Mohammad-Reza Ashtiani said, as cited by IRNA.
Iran has been actively calling for the end of the bloodshed in the Palestinian enclave and has repeatedly accused Washington of fuelling tensions in the Middle East since Israel began its military operations in Gaza following an unprecedented surprise attack by Hamas that left some 1,400 Israelis, mostly civilians, dead.
Earlier on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said that Israel was committing “war crimes and genocide”with the “full support” of the US government.
“Israel’s criminal acts, fully supported by the United States, portray the arrogant spirit of Washington which incited hatred among nations across the world,” Kanaani said, according to Press TV.
Washington has refused to call for a full ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, opting for a “humanitarian pause” instead. The Pentagon has also shipped additional weapons to the IDF and dispatched a naval armada to the western Mediterranean Sea to show support for Israel.
Israel and the US, meanwhile, are accusing Iran of orchestrating Hamas attacks on Israeli civilians and supplying the group with weapons. The Pentagon also said that Iran was backing militias, which conducted drone and rocket attacks on US bases in the Middle East. Tehran, for its part, has endorsed Hamas’ deadly October 7 incursion into Israel, but claimed that it was an “entirely Palestinian”raid.
Israel has responded to the October 7 incursion by imposing a nearly complete blockade on Gaza and striking what it says are Hamas-linked targets. More than 9,000 Palestinians, including thousands of women and childrens, have been killed, according to the Hamas-run local authorities.
(Are you freakin kidding me, why is the US letting Iran intimidate us?)

Zelensky visit to Israel imperiled by leak – media
An earlier request for an official visit was allegedly rebuffed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
A planned trip by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to Israel later this month may not happen after Israel’s Channel 12 news was tipped off about the visit, an unnamed Ukrainian diplomat told the Times of Israel on Sunday.
“He wanted the trip to be public when he stepped on Israeli soil,”the official told the news outlet, adding that Zelensky was“very disappointed.”(His stunt didn’t work)
The Ukrainian leader was expected to visit Israel as soon as next week, Channel 12 had reported on Friday, claiming the plans were already at an “advanced stage.”
The visit was supposed to represent “something of a united front of Israel, Ukraine, Europe, and the US against the Russia-Iran axis.” This wouldculminate in the photoZelensky would take with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli President Isaac Herzog to “send a message of the enlightened world under attack, standing against the less-enlightened world, attacking,” according to the network. (Seriously Fuck Off Zelensky, no one likes you.)
Zelensky’s previous attempt to visit Israel last month, which reportedly came in the days following Hamas’ October 7 attack, was apparently rebuffed, with Netanyahu allegedly responding, “Now is not the time,” to an official request from Kiev.
While Ukrainian government sources told the media that trip was intended to “boost international support for Israel’s counteroffensive against Hamas in Gaza,”Zelensky has struggled to hold ontothe international attention - and aid dollars - his country enjoyed prior to Israel’s declaration of war, despite his best efforts to link Russia to the Hamas incursion.
Zelensky has previously criticized Israel for what he argued was lackluster support for Ukraine in its fight against Russia, complaining to Netanyahu that Kiev “expect[ed] more” from its ally - including the Iron Dome missile system and other high-end technology, which Israel had refused to share.
While the Pentagon reassured journalists last month that the US had enough weapons, equipment and ammunition for both Ukraine and Israel, one of its main programs funding arms deliveries to Kiev ran out of money last week, andUkrainian lobbyists have descended upon Washingtonin an effort to keep the money flowing. The US Congress, facing government shutdown once more, has struggled to agree on a financial package to fund itself, let alone Ukraine and Israel.
Last week, Time magazine reported that Zelensky felt “betrayed by his western allies,” claiming the president’s aides described him as “delusional” for his conviction that further arms and money - on top of the $75 billion-plus Kiev has received from the US alone since 2022 - would defeat Russia.

Trump beating Biden in swing states – NYT poll
Most respondents said the current president's policies had personally hurt them and predicted financial ruin if he won a second term
US President Joe Biden would likely lose a rematch against his Republican rival, former President Donald Trump, if the election were held now, according to polls from the New York Times/Siena College and CBS/YouGov published on Sunday.
The New York Times poll showed Trump leading Biden significantly infive of the six critical ‘swing states,’ holding an 11-point lead in Nevada and smaller margins across Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Only Wisconsin favored Biden – and only by a two-point margin. (This poll is bullshit as usual)
Two thirds of respondents said the US was moving in the wrong direction, and a majority across all demographics claimed Biden’s policies had personally hurt them. Nearly three quarters(71%) said the president was too old to serve effectively– including more than half of his own supporters – while 62% said he lacked the mental acuity for the job.
Close to six in ten (59%) likely voters trusted Trumpover Biden on the economy – rated as the most important issue of the 2024 election by a majority of respondents – and the preference for Trump held true across all education and income levels, ages, and genders.
Just 2% of respondents – and less than 1% of those under 30 – claimed the economy was 'excellent', potentially explaining Biden’s flagging support among young voters, who overwhelmingly chose him in 2020 but favored him by just one point over Trump in Sunday’s poll.
The CBS poll put Trump ahead of Biden by three points, echoing the NYT’s findings that voters are pinning their economic hopes on the Republican. Nearly half (45%) of those polled said they’d be better off financially if Trump returned to the White House, compared to just 18% predicting a rosy economic future under Biden, though a majority (51%) expected both candidates’ policies to favor the wealthy over the working and middle classes. At the same time, 48% expected to be financially worse off if Biden won a second term, while 32% felt the same about Trump.
Trump was also seen as less belligerent. Nearly half (47%) of the respondents thought he would increase peace and stability in the world, compared to just 31% who felt the same about Biden. While 39% of likely voters still believed Trump would increase the odds of the US entering another war, nearly half (49%) expected Biden to do so.
Voters’ own preferences were overwhelmingly for avoiding foreign wars, with 72% of respondents agreeing the US should “try to stay out of other countries’ affairs” and just 35% prioritizing the projection of military power over the promotion of American ideals as a foreign policy goal. Still, a slim majority supported sending military aid to both Israel (55%) and Ukraine (53%).
(The Obama run NYTs did their job, but it was predictable)
