What was the Achilles heel of the Chrysler 383 & 440 engines as fitted to Jensen cars. We take a look at the infamous Chrysler ‘Silent Timing Chain’.

During the 1960s, Chrysler were looking at ways of making their engines run quieter, and to that end, had been developing their ‘Silent Timing Chain’ system. Advances in plastics technology had allowed Chrysler to manufacture and fit a nylon toothed timing sprocket to their range of engines.

This sprocket, cast in aluminium, had nylon teeth, allowing the engine to run more quietly.

More importantly for Chrysler, testing had shown that the nylon toothed sprocket had a guaranteed life in excess of 50,000 miles, which exceeded their warranty of the time.

This is exactly what happened to the Museum’s Jensen FF, chassis number 127/248. It was February 1984, and 127/248 was being driven at around 50 mph, when the engine started to play up, eventually coming to a standstill.

An engine strip-down found the problem. The ‘E’ series Chrysler 383 engine had been built in 1969, and the original nylon toothed timing sprocket was still in place.

Once the timing gear was removed and cleaned up, it was clear that half the nylon teeth had broken up.

The car had covered exactly 52,690 miles from new. Just over the mileage Chrysler had originally given as a guaranteed life, but slightly out of their three year time related warranty – the engine now 15 years of age.

Why Do We Write Hebrew from Right to Left?

The third Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel (the Tzemach Tzedek), explains that writing from right to left is in keeping with the general rule in Judaism that we give precedence to the right side, e.g., we put on our right shoe first2 and wash our right hand first.3 Once we have written the first letter on the extreme right of the parchment or page, we move on to the next available space on the right side, which is to the immediate left of the letter we just wrote. And so it happens that we are writing from right to left.4

The Tzemech Tzedek adds that although there is another Talmudic rule, “All turns that you make should be only to the right”5—which would seem to imply that we should write from left to right (so that we are move toward the right)—it only applies when one has to actually turn one’s body.6

Why is the right side given precedence in Judaism? In kabbalistic teachings, the right represents the attribute of chesed (kindness) and the left, gevurah (severity). Just as there is a general rule that the right takes precedence in Jewish life, so too, whenever faced with a situation where you need to decide between kindness or severity, kindness comes first.

According to the pleadings, Tim Ballard from Mormon, Inc, was the Annointed One to follow HRC, and lead "Israel" into Zion, during the first year of the Second Term of his Presidency in 2033, the Bi-Millenary (2000th) Anniversary of the execution of an innocent man for Free Speech.

In February 2023, court officers in Belmont County, Ohio, terrified Holmseth had discovered explosive information about child trafficking activities connected to Hunter Biden, the Great Lakes, the Finger Lakes Region of New York, and Sandy Hook school in Newtown, Connecticut, conspired with the STATE OF OHIO in a brazen attempt to shut Holmseth down.

The plan was to protect the STATE OF OHIO from Holmseth’s news reporting, by using a county level domestic court to put a restraining order on Holmseth – who is not a resident of Ohio. The order would forbid Holmseth from reporting about matters that involved Ohio, and placed Holmseth’s name into the federal database called the National Crimes Information Center (NCIC).

The racketeering conspiracy involved a diabolical plan to NOT serve Holmseth regarding the case, and then, have the judge grant the order in Holmseth’s absence, by falsely claiming Holmseth was served via Certified Mail by the U.S. Postal Service. Holmseth learned of rumors there was an order against him in Ohio and began to investigate.

Holmseth ran the tracking number that Judge Frank Fregiato said proved Holmseth was served. The tracking number shown online at the Belmont County Court’s website, which is run by Judge Fregiato’s wife Cynthia Fregiato, who is the Clerk of Court, showed the mail never went anywhere.

Holmseth promptly filed a civil rights lawsuit in the Eastern District of Tennessee Case Number 2:23-cv-00011-DCLC-CRW. After Holmseth filed the lawsuit, somebody went into the Register of Actions journal and added yet another tracking number – this time a FED EX number. That number went nowhere, either.
