People react to claims like these as if they are unlikely, crazy, etc… But realistically– wouldn't they be trying all along? Wouldn't someone be trying?

The US held trememdous power since the end of WWII, and moreso since the end of the cold war— it should be taken for granted that battles to seize and control that power would occur. But the hypnotized public is unable to even think on those lines. They don't study history.
