President Trump [Univision]: [Biden has] unleashed something…if they want to follow through on this [weaponized Justice Department], it could certainly happen in reverse…they've released the genie out of the box.

DEA would also have to be allowing it. The current administrator is Anne Milgram, in office since 2021.
The DEA used to appear to be really hard on people that grew marijuana. I guess it's not surprising that they probably targeted mostly small-timers and let connected operations continue. I wonder what Asa Hutchinson knows about that.
Gigantic growing operations like that would contain enough plants to easily violate federal law. Trafficking it over state lines in such large amounts is also a serious crime.
