What is the significance of blue flashes in the sky? From what I can tell it apparently follows earthquakes. But there was no earthquake here. I'm asking because on the way home just now I saw blue flashes in the sky. There's no clouds. The sky is clear and the stars are out. It's 38 degrees, so I figure it is not heat lightning. I really can't explain it. I saw it about 5 times on my 15 min drive. HARP? But I've lived here my whole life and never seen it here.
