For most of my life I've seen 111 or 1111. That's whole thing and I won't get into it. But for about the last year or two that stopped and I began seeing the number 444 or 4444. I decided to do some research about it today.

Of course a normal internet search turned up lots of people talking about "angel numbers". New-age angel worship is basically just old-school pantheism. Demons are "angels" too and they love being worshipped and asked for stuff and prayed too. This is a non-starter for me because I worship only the one true God, not fallen servants. All I really learned was that TONS of people are now suddenly seeing 4444 all of a sudden.

So I turned to biblical sources, namely Hebrew. If you didn't know, the Hebrew glyphs that comprise the Hebrew written language are both letters and numbers. This is why you can count the number of the name of the anti-Christ as 666 because any Hebrew word can also be read as a number.

Furthermore, each individual Hebrew letter also has a meaning. So in this way it is also similar to some Asian languages and ancient pictographic languages. There was some really cool research done where Genesis was interpreted on the basis of the meanings of the individual glyphs that make up the words of the text. And the result was internally consistent and told the same story! It's pretty amazing.

The number 4 in Hebrew is the letter "dalet". It's the Hebrew D. But the meaning of the glyph is door! So 4444 could be read as "door door door door!".

But before I get to that, something came to my mind the other day. A "rhetorical inversion" took place between the pop-culture connotation of the meanings of the words "sheep" and "goat". Satan rules the world so this should be no surprise. The pop-culture meaning of "sheep" has the negative connotation of someone who is stupid and unthinking. GOAT on the other hand is an acronym everyone knows means Greatest of All Time.

But in the bible sheep refers to the lost souls saved by Christ. If you are Christian, you are one of His sheep and you know the sound of His voice. Goats are portrayed as those who buck against God. And it is said that in the end Jesus will separate the Sheep Nations; the good ones who follow God, from the Goat nations; the ones who hate God and buck against Him.

So I went to the resource I've been using for three decades now, https://www.blueletterbible.org/. I looked up the word door. Lots of results because door is a common word. There were four pages of results, so I skipped to the fourth one! It was the New Testament stuff anyway which I what I was looking for. Ignoring several mundane uses of the word I arrived at several uses of the word by Jesus in the book of John.

Jhn 10:7 - Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

Jhn 10:9 - I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Rev 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

There are also references to the door being shut and how after that point, it will be too late. This passage in Matthew is the parable of the Seven Wise and Seven Foolish virgins. This one has always fascinated me. Both the Foolish AND the Wise virgins fell asleep while waiting for the groom to come for them.

But the wise ones were prepared with oil for their lamps. When he arrived the Wise ones lit their lamps and went out to meet Him. But the foolish ones were not ready so they went to buy oil and missed the groom and were left behind.

Mat 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

I felt compelled to share this with you. Because the meaning of 4444 seems to be "Door! Door! Door! Door!" Do you have oil in your lamp?
